Dan Burn and Shaun Hutchinson at centre back would be a huge upgrade on Odoi and Ream.

How well did we do in 2014/15 when Burn & Hutchinson were our centre back pairing?
How well did we do in 2017/18 when Odoi & Ream were our centre back pairing?

FFS, please don't compare Burn and Hutchinson of 2014 with Burn and Hutchinson of today, what a daft comment to make.

Spot on.

Shaun Hutch only excelled in a very limited direct footballing side, If you put him in a Slavisa team (or any team that tries to play football) it would be a recipe for disaster. Same goes for Dan Burn at Wigan.
Lets be honest, you like them because they are British and tall. They are both average champ level CBs and watching Dan Burn move was like watching someone tread water. He had 1 good game (Away at United) that he lived off for the rest of his Fulham career. During our Champ run especially he was very poor.

They are not British they are English for a start, and they no longer play for Fulham yet your still giving them stick, at least they had big hearts unlike some of the Nancy boys we got playing for us.
Glad they have bettered themselves by moving club.

I liked them both at Fulham, but fans generally on here, though  Burns  was a favourite for his attitude,  while Hutch wa  slagged off for errors, thought they weren't good enough for us.

I was sad to see Burn go, and am  really glad he's doing well, and it doesn't surprise me. He just needs to be in a team that utilises his great attributes.

I would use the words Shaun Hutchinson and excelled very very tentativly.

But I think you're being overly harsh on Dan Burn. He was a very composed centre half who reads the game very well. His short passing was better than most in his position.

He hasn't got any pace and looked out of place when we started to play a higher line.
