Well known I'm no fan of his but for some to decide on him.based on him picking one particular player is stupid.
So that it, he picks a player you don't like and that's it he's done in your eyes. Seriously what chance does anyone at the club have with views like that?

I am intrigued as to why you are so against his appointment. I know nothing of his coaching abilities but he can't be worse than CR
I'm going to pass on that and just wish him the best. If he does well then Fulham does well and thats whats important.
Just the views of a long term fan

General

We have three players (Three!!) that have scored 2 goals or more in our entire squad. Mitro - 10, Sessgnon - 2 (and quite a few assists) and Schurrle - 6... I know people aren't a fan of Schurrle, but leaving out someone who can and has a track record of being able to score goals is HUGE in this league. Leaving him out - aside from the fact he's useless at saying positive things for team cohesion - is criminal..

You have a player who can score goals on the fly and with his quality and teams approach the game completely differently for the most part, more defensively... See the goals home and away that he scored against burnley... They must loathe/be in awe of him.. If he worked and spoke as someone who respected the team and shutting up and just focusing on the game in hand it'd be completely different.

If he picks anguisa i will worry.

Harsh, been one of our better players last two in my opinion.

Two things. It is my opinion and b the fact you can say he has been one of the better performers is a concernin itself. For me he started OK V Saints but then became totally anonymous. My kids who were at the game said it was unfortunate that he was played so out of position that he couldn't join in properly but IMO to be quite so anonymous was not good.

However, just to clarify. If he picks the man I wioll worry until they start and if he is played in a manner that suits and he can flourish you can check my post after the game that will be full of praise. For me its a clean slate but please allow me to worry about everything.

Don't think it matters who Parkers picks to play.

I have seen enough to believe that we lack quality to compete in this league.

Recruitment total shambles. Any top managers would also struggle with our cureent squad.

I hope and believe Mr Parker will allow the team to pick itself having established what will be needed on Sunday combating Hazard and company.  He has been given orders to restore pride and I think he will have some good ideas about how that can be achieved on the pitch.  He can certainly do no worse than Ranieri.

1 goalkeeper and 10 attackers because he hasn't been that influential about defence! Who cares now anyway, the season is over, topics are now being posted just for the sake of!
No , we have a major problem with the keeper which has to be given priority.
I would go for ten keepers and Mitrovic, a much more sensible suggestion.

RaySmith

He's limited in his selection, obviously, but crucial will be two or three players, and how they are played.

He will, presumably, have his own ideas, but he has seen a few Fulham managers and formations, so you would think he has an idea of whatworks and what doesn't, and a good idea of what each player is capable of.

What can we do about our keeper? - who is available instead of Rico? Is it only Fabri at the moment?

Mayvbe give him a go, or recall Rodak, if possible.

filham

Parker's team selection and the tactics he decides on are of great interest and difficult to predict. I hope he settles for tactics midway between those of Jocanovic and Ranieri and leaves out a few of the big money summer signings that have failed us.
Lets try to pick up from where we left off last season.

Of course with Betts injured he has a major problem with the keeper (all premier league managers are now aware that he can't handle crosses) to which there seems no solution.

Surely he's got to drop Rico. He was woeful again last night. And I was there, not just judging by the highlights.

Fabri is no better at commanding the area, arguably worse. I'm still a fan of Betts although he's injured. Which leaves Rodak. Can we recall him from Rotherham? I seem to remember special dispensation being given to GK loan recalls

I would assume that if there is a special dispensation for GK recalls (I don't know if there is) it would only apply in case of injuries or suspensions to the otherwise available keepers. If that is the case, if would not apply since we have both Rico and Fabri available.

Watched the 90 minutes at Southampton again.
As usual there seemed no structure to the team.
Players all over the place when defending .
Southampton not closed down anywhere, had the freedom
to run at  us without being closed down.
2nd goal Ream and Bryan awful positioning.
These things are basic , if Parker can address  these things
who knows .Such a shame bit more organisation and players
doing their jobs could have been a whole lot different this season.
Ranieri had to go after last 2 performances .

It's funny how we see different things. In my view it was Nordveit's (SP?) poor header that left our whole back line out of position for the 2nd goal, Ream and Bryan were trying to recover their positions. Bryan was a tad slow to see Ward-Prowse, but as one of my work colleagues said (and they are at every Saints home game) they haven't had anyone following up at all this season. Sometimes we should give more credit to opposition teams, and less that every goal is someone's fault.

Yes poor clearance but there was a lot for Saints to do from there.
Ream and Bryan were ball watching and were too late reacting when the ball got played forward.
Both had time to get in better defensive shape.
Saying that they probably would have scored anyway.
Bryan is very frustrating seems not being able to smell danger always a bit off the pace.

twang

I have no idea but I'm hoping that he'll address the balance issue that Ranieri chose to ignore (going from one defensive midfielder to three) and have an eye on the future (excluding some players that definitely won't be here next season).

Fabri
Odoi - McDonald - Ream - Le Marchand
Chambers - Anguissa
Markovic - Cairney - Sessegnon
Mitrovic

Good time for Fabri to get another shot, with a new manager and a fair few poor performances from Rico.
I'm still hoping that KMac will be converted to centre half, but understand that it probably won't happen.
IMHO Le Marchand's best performances for us has been at left back, and I'm not totally sold on Bryan.
Chambers and Anguissa are, for me, the natural defensive partnership in midfield.
Markovic should get a chance to prove his worth. Is he someone we want to put faith in next season or not?

Facts Not Fiction

Rico

Christie Nordtveit Le Marchand Bryan

Chambers Seri

Babel Cairney Sessegnon

Mitrovic

I'd like to see Zambo, but no in place of Seri.

Once we give up any chance of staying up, then Fabri has to come into the team.

Fabri has to be sold or be FFC next seasons #2, either way he needs game time.

Woolly Mammoth

Fabri is only 6 feet tall, that imo is not tall enough, he does not command his area, we have better and bigger keepers in the Academy, and I am a very impressed with Marek Rodak he is more than 5 inches taller.
So it is best we sell him for his sake and Fulhams for all concerned.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

If Scott Parker's smart, he will pick a team that will be seen as visionary if we lose. The games against Chelsea, Liverpool and ManCity will put some players on show that maybe get sold and also determine who is worth keeping if we get promoted again. Assuming some of the other lower ranked teams pull away from us and we are 13 points behind, then remaining games after that are just building the team for next year.

                   Fabri

SSess Chambers Norveidt RSess

             Cisse  Anguissa

Babel           Cairney     Kebano

                  Mitrovoic

Used Subs: Markovoic, McDonald and Atyie

I would also play Elliott, Torres and Riley as subs against Liverpool and ManCity if 15 points adrift

I agree with S Sess at rb  :54:
