Wolves may have lost 51 mill last year but isn't the rule; Combined losses over 3 years must not exceed a given figure? It's not done year on year.
Yes, but the limit is £39m. And as stated in the OP they lost £26m the year before.

They smashed the limit on a massive scale with their chairmans signature confirming the numbers. At least when Neymar cheats he rolls around and pretends he was fouled. Wolves have made a joke of the rules, I think there losses over three years are near £84m. If the premier league don't enforce punishment on Wolves, they wont be able to punish any team with slightly less cheating like 50m per season. TK can get 20x Chambers on loan for that price, which should be enough for promotion.

Lots of angst on here about other clubs and their finances. Sounds a repeat of Villa and Leeds protestations from last season, almost begging for  Wolves to have a points deduction and giving the opportunity for them to be promoted in their place. In particular, Villa had, and still have a huge problem with their finances, and promotion would have sorted it out. So, echoes from last season appear again, and now it's FFC  fans turn to bleat about it, and deflect attention away from their club's own shortcomings. Would relegating Wolves and Cardiff because of perceived FFP failures sort out the sticky mess that FFC  now finds itself in? I'm afraid not. Poor performance from the boardroom through to the players on the pitch. Although last week under SP, there was an acknowledged improvement. If relegation does happen, then a great opportunity presents itself with parachute payments to re-organise and have a chance to re-build. Fans desire for immediate success is understandable, but rarely achievable. Give the new manager the chance to create his squad and style of play that will succeed in the Championship, and form the base for another go in the Prem.
For those of you who are interested, this link will give some insight into what FFP is about, although judging some comments, one or two on here are already experts. Figures used for FFP are within clubs accounts. They are not the same.

And this one from a Villa fan (very good analysis about Villa and Wolves)

And another from Swiss Ramble (again, very good)

Happy reading.
