Cardiff, more effort more strength and dare I say it more style than us yesterday..... Judas Priest what a bug bear..... Complete re vamp required AGAIN.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

We'll be lucky to get a point from Cardiff.  The thought of Colin celebrating at the Cottage sickens me.

Wingnut

1-0 up. If they get three points here, it'd be a massive lift for them. Well organised and working their socks off. Fair play to them. Warnock has done a good job with them.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Spirit of 2000

Cardiff and Colin are battlers ... invested in largely in players who will fight until the last and kept the core of the team promoted last season... unlike us who spent massively more and got in gutless and clueless dross like Seri and Anguissa who were happy to take their big wages. Seri wants away ..  well good riddance and I will offer to drive him to the airport... he epitomised everything wrong with our summer transfer window. Cardiff may go down still ... but my God they've given it a go ..  unlike us and our limp excuse of a season.

This is what I would have hoped for v City yesterday.  At least give the home crowd something to enjoy, although a loss would be inevitable, at least 'defense-up' and go into second half with prospect of 'maybe' getting a draw, but at least give fans some hope.  But, it was not to be, giveaway goals allowed early.

And now Cardiff leads early in second half.  FFC very disappointing this campaign.

Warnock has been ridiculed on here, but his style, getting the best out of maybe limited players available, has been shown to be effective compared to Fulham, with their expensive foreign flops.

Cardill concentrate on determined defence, with players grafting and  giving their all, and hitting teams on the break, and would never exhibit the comic book defending of Fulham this season.

Colin and his henchmen going apoplectic on touchline cos ref never sent off opposition player .... bloody typical,,,,,, Karma hits him right between the eyes as opposition score the probable winner

Not looking forward to playing them in the Championship

Spirit of 2000

I dont like Colin or his brand of football but his players have fought from day 1 for their survival unlike our gutless efforts and today they were utterly robbed by a clearly offside goal and sending off incident where Ruddiger should have walked. As above .... not looking forward to playing them next season.

SP

MOTM - the referee, he won them the game.

The Old Count

This bias from referees in favour of the top six clubs is an outrage and an afront to the sport. Something needs to be done.

SP

Must win game for Cardiff at the Cottage.

Wingnut

That was a big blow for them today. Referee did them no favours.

Should we actually give the players a close season?

Jean Tigana took them all back in on 29th May before winning first 11 games on the trot.
Flog this lot up to some form of fitness and speed and we might..... just might avoid consecutive relegations.

Fair play to Cardiff though, a battling performance and everything that I was waiting 90 minutes for from us yesterday.

It'll be interesting to see how they do at Man City, more of a fight than we did I'm sure.

The players do not deserve any time off, as they have made very little effort this season, some of them have treated Fulham like a holiday camp, in fact it's been one long holiday for some of them.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Can see the logic in the argument , but surely you'd want some sort of distinguishing timeline between this wretched season and the next.

Different objectives, different mindsets, different enthusiasm takes a while to adapt to .
Next season can't simply be a continuation of this season. It needs fresh air, diffferent regimes and time to put the season completely out of the system.

You'd like to think the scouting and stats is done for the summer and the club are ready to pounce. The players can return in the last week of June or whatever but Tony and his merry men need to be going full steam to right the wrongs of this season.

If some of the players seemed disinterested or disillusioned, or not good enough, again that's up to Tony and co to freshen up the squad. If they aren't good enough now, they won't be good enough in 2/3 years when /if we are able to get back out of the championship. Build a squad that can grow and develop into being premier league footballers while giving them championship experience

. The likes of Kebano, Ream, Odoi and their ilk have served us well but they are not good enough for our end goal of premier league football. A squad refresh with a clear aim of premier league survival is possible if we replace them with younger hungrier players capable of developing into premier league footballers, that can only help us, obviously maintaining some continuity with experience of the likes of KMac or whoever is showing some passion for the shirt

Didn't Wolves do the same last season?

However regardless of when they report for Pre season, we need the players we are going to use to be there, not shipping them in on deadline day
