Three Things That Are Not happening.

It is the end of the season on Sunday and we are awaiting for three important announcements.

1. The start date for work on the new stand.

2. Season ticket offers for next season

3. Appointment of a new manager.

What on earth is happening, has anyone any idea. Are the three matters in any way linked.

1 and 2 probably are.

3 not sure how it would link to either of the previous.

Unless 1 isn't happening, because we're being sold and therefore 3 is over to a new owner, but that isn't something I think is happening at all.

Yes, 5 would explain the lot and sorting out a suitable replacement may take a while. Just hope Khan senior has managed to make contact with McBride in the States, who else could he have in mind.

I think the first sentence prior to the three  items may be instructive.  I wonder what will be in the match day programme for Sunday?

There is no chance of TK going anywhere. Perhaps the best course of action would be to support Mr Khan Jnr and encourage him to seek council from a wise football head.  A Hodgson, Wikinson, Wenger type. Maybe that's why Wenger was approached and indeed, turned us down.

Many of us have always said "I'll believe it WHEN it's actually been built"
So many reasons to doubt it UNTIL then
WHEN it's been built then fine
Hopefully by then we will have appointed a manager who can rebuild (yet again) the team & achieve promotion from the Championship to the Premiership with the core of a team which when added to can survive but also compete without being the whipping boys so sadly experienced this season
A huge ask if it is to be delivered
Make no bones about it, the Championship will not be an easy ride for us or indeed any other "fancied" sides prior to next seasons kick off
Many teams will be looking to spoil our party
Depends if we have / sign the characters who can stand up to that nonsense & win out
So come on Scotty get the Quatro fired up!

Do you remember when we (along with other clubs such as Liverpool) used to scout around Scotland, Ireland and our lower divisions etc for likely and relatively cheap talent? I am sure some of us older supporters such as you, me and the legendary Peabody recall many examples.

By the way I have been off the air through illness and immobility for several years. I was previously Old Brown Shoe (aka OBS) and am now on my 72nd birthday back as Oldbrownshoe2
