Its getting tougher at the moment to predict. Physioroom says we are looking like this in the treatment room at present -

D Etuhu Ankle/Foot Injury no return date
D Duff Calf Muscle Strain no return date
D Murphy Groin Strain 13th Nov 10
F Stoor Groin Strain no return date
B Zamora Broken Leg Feb 11
P Senderos Calf/Shin Injury Feb 11

The rumour is that Murphy will be back for Saturday as will Simon Davies (goodness knows what happened to Freddie Stoor - slippery steps at his agents office?) but no news yet on Duff or Etuhu.

Will AJ get a start after his second half substitute performance last time out and a good run out against Millwall? I think he will.

I am therefore going for  -

Schwarzer

Kelly  Hughes  Hangeland  Salcido

Davies  Baird Murphy  Dempsey

Dembele  AJ

Subs -

Stockdale
Pantsil
Halliche
Greening
Dikgacoi
Gera
Kamara

No place for Riise, EJ or Elm

SmithyFFC

What I'd like to see:

              Schwarzer

Pantsil  Hughes  Hangeland  Salcido

Davies  Murphy  Baird  Dempsey

                 Dembele

              Andy Johnson

Subs: Stockdale, Halliche, Kelly, Riise, Gera, Kamara, Dikagcoi

What I think we'll see:

               Schwarzer

Kelly  Hughes  Hangeland  Salcido

Davies  Greening  Murphy  Dempsey

                 Dembele

                 Kamara

Subs: Stockdale, Pantsil, Halliche, Dikagcoi, Gera, Riise, Andy Johnson

I think you're probably right, but surely Baird must make the bench, if not a starter.

HatterDon

Schwarzer; Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido; Dembele, Greening, Murphy, Dempsey/Gera; A. Johnson, E. Johnson

I'd like to see Dembele play as an out and out right winger. I think he'd be at his most dangerous cutting in as Duff did last season.

And before there's too much derision with my Johnson and Johnson strike pair, we need someone who can lay off the ball and make a pass to the guy running the channels -- E.J. can do this. A Dembele/AJ front line cries out for someone with a little strength.

Somebody get tjl to double his bet, this one will be 3-1 Fulham.

Pantsil deserves a chance again, Kelly was very poor against WBA.

Lighthouse

#5
Swart (although I wouldn't have him start but he will)
Kelly
Hughes
Hangeland
Salcido
Dembele (as a winger)
Baird
Greening (although I would play DIka)
Dempsey
Kamara
AJ

Stockdale,Gera,EJ,Pants,Elm.Dika,Riise
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

My son is on a course at Motspur Park this week and he said that Murphy and Davies were doing light training yesterday-not with the squad. He thought he saw Duff with the main group. I have told him to keep his eyes peeled today to see who is involved today in the main group.

Top man. The rumour is that Murphy and Davies will be back but I would be very surprised if Duff was back this early. Your lad will surely notice big Etuhu if he is back.

Welcome aboard Fulham151. Hope to see more of you on here. :54:

Thanks for the welcoming comments. Etuhu was seen on his own heading off to the gym so I would think he is definitely out.

not sure who will start - have a feeling aj is one game away - i'll go with...

              Schwarzer

Kelly  Hughes  Hangeland  Salcido

Davies  Baird Murphy  Demps/Gera
                        Demps/Gera
               Dembele

not sure it is our best - but have a feeling we will look something like that w/gera out at half or just after and aj on.

cebu

I think AJ will once again come on as a second half sub, so:

              Schwarzer

Kelly  Hughes  Hangeland  Salcido

Davies  Baird Murphy  Dempsey

               Dembele

               Kamara

I like this lineup. Sounds like a winner to me.
