Think the lad has been treated like dirt by his club and manager and fans booing him of late.
Was an unused sub in their 0-2 defeat on Sunday.
The boy has gave his all for that club in the time he has been there,I find it quite sad his time there ends  like this.
Ungrateful Spanish lot.😬
Have never liked Zidane either, something sinister about him,and not just in his looks either.

I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with you Mince. I Actually have no sympathy for Bale, he probably deserves everything he gets.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

And there was I just writing out my invitation to you for the 25th anniversary of my shed being built party.
I'd got a barrel of London Pride in there and Kylie Minogue guest of honour as well...😊

If it is true that he has refused to learn Spanish, engage with his team mates off the pitch & happy to see out his contract playing golf as has been reported, then he gets no sympathy from me.

Luka Modric his team mate defended him on that, saying he lives for his family and child and didn't socialise easily.
Lots of people don't mix with their fellow workers when they go home after work, after all its only a job.

Art Vandelay

Appararently on £350k per week after tax with 3 years left on his contract so will be almost impossible to move on as no team in their right mind would pay that on top of whatever fee Madrid will demand for him. He is still a great player but injury prone so wouldn't blame him at all if dug his heals in to stay and played golf when not picked for the team.

It appears to be his decision to stay, and at a supposed £600,000 per week, thats his perogative. Rather like the Chels** player of yesteryear who was on £40K per week he chose to play with the youth team rather than accept a lesser sum elsewhere. As fans we might not like it but in harsh economic terms would any of us do different?

Winston Bogarde wasn't it? Played for their reserves on £40k a week 20 years ago. Couldn't happen to a nicer club.

On the Bale situation, to be fair he should at least learn the language of the country he's living in. Plenty of people over here, moan at that exact thing. But cos he's British, it's ok....
If he doesn't want to socialise with the other club players, then that's entirely up to him. I don't often go out with people from work myself. But if they want to get rid of him that badly, I'm sure we'd find space for him over Ayite....
Everything is difficult before it's easy!

Money is no object to them, would expect them to send him out on loan.

As for the language thing, you'd think that if that was an essential part of being part of the club, the club would have written it into his contract, or supported him via player liaison officers, or regular lessons from the club. Instead it seems to have been neglected, and it hasn't done him any harm so far. They seem to make an issue out of it just to get him out.
If he wants to sit and play golf for a few years, why not? He's been given a contract and it's a shambles if the biggest club in the world resort to playing games through the press to get rid of him.

If he doesn't want to go out with the team past his bed time, why should he?

In any walk of life in any job, unless it's in your contract, you're not expected to do it

Sometimes players are badly advised and as we know money isn't everything. You have to be dedicated to be a top footballer
