Since moving to Somerset 2 months ago, I no longer have a shed and am hoping some foffers can help me with my loss. Please merge as appropriate.

Over the last Bank Holiday I knocked my old shed down which was in situ when I moved in as it was an eye sore and falling to pieces. My replacement shed should be installed in the next few weeks which I'm strangely looking forward to.

Not sure if this helps you with your loss though :(

Before I came to the US I had a shed in my back garden
I called it Roger's Shed
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

I have a shed in Exeter you are welcome too

I cannot believe that the locals have stolen your shed; was it covered in insurance?

If you are serious about getting one there are lots of independents down this part of the world. Make an afternoon tour of it and haggle about where the door and windows are to go.
If you just miss the sense of security, the brain whirling feeling of where shelves, hooks and a plug socket are to go and the smells of wood, paint, preservative oils and sawdust just take a trip to the local garden centre.
Dammit I now have to go my shed to reconnect.

The best person to speak to about sheds on this forum is mince & tatties, not only is he a Connoisseur on sheds  he breeds them. In fact he has Shed loads of them.

Sorry for your loss, from an allotment fan. Good to see rivalries can be put aside at a time of loss

Good of everyone to shed some light on the subject

I suppose trying to do a gag about shedding a tear or two over your loss would not be appropriate under the circumstances?

I have a shed in my garden but it's difficult to see as it is completely buried under assorted climbers and creepers. It's a graveyard for old tools, paint pots, bikes etc. and could do with a good clear-out to be honest.

No it just had a green roof.

I have now been living in a large flat for 10 years, still miss the shed and garage, there really is no place I can call my own now.

Anyone else got a rubber roof on their shed?

I've had mine a fewyears now and it's holding up nicely.

I did have with an ex Shed but pigeons damaged it by using it as a trampoline.

No it was covered in bird poo.

A guy across the road built a large shed which he uses as a home office, and his roof was made from recycled car tyres!

A rubber roof? I didn't know they'd stretch that far.
