Käit Departs

The Club can this morning confirm that Mattias Käit has joined Slovenian side NK Domžale on a permanent transfer.

Käit - who has won 20 caps for the Estonian national side - went out on loan to Scottish Premiership side Ross County in 2018 and has featured heavily for our PL2 side in recent campaigns.

We wish Mattias all the best in his career and thank him for his efforts at Fulham over the years.

'Better options out there' – Fulham eye transfer swoop for Leeds United man: Six Point Opinion

Fulham have expressed their interest in signing Leeds United midfielder, Adam Forshaw according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old made just 19 league starts for Marcelo Bielsa's side last season, as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League.

It's likely to be a summer of change at Elland Road, with potential departures on the cards as Bielsa looks to strengthen ahead of next season.

In our latest FLW Six Pointer, we look into this latest transfer rumour in more detail.

Firstly, would Forshaw be a good signing for Fulham?

"There are better options out there for the Lilywhites.

"Forshaw hasn't done much to impress me with Leeds recently, and when I first heard of this rumour, I was certainly surprised.

"He'll be hoping to find regular game time as well, and I'm not sure that Fulham could offer him that with their midfield options already strong heading into next year's campaign."

Would he be a regular starter for the Lilywhites?

"Absolutely not.

"Forshaw hasn't been starting at Leeds in recent months as he isn't good enough to be in starting XI for Bielsa's side.

"Fulham have arguably better options in midfield than Leeds do, so I struggled to see where he would fit in, in Scott Parker's in the 2019/2020 season."

How much is he likely to cost in today's market?

"You're looking in the region of £2m-£3m.

"He signed for Leeds for a fee believed to be in the region of £4.5m, but he's struggled ever since his move to Elland Road.

"There's absolutely no way that the Whites are going to make a profit on him, so they should cut their losses and cash in on him whilst they can."

Are Leeds wanting to sell him?

"They'll surely be tempted to offload him.

"Leeds need to rim the wage bill at Elland Road if they are to make any signings in the summer and Forshaw will be tempted to move on to find regular game time.

"Bielsa already has better options available to him in the centre of midfield, and Forshaw could be one of a number of players heading for the exit door at Leeds before the new season gets underway."

Are there better alternatives out there?

"In a short answer, absolutely.

"I'm not convinced on this potential signing, as I definitely think there are better options out there for Fulham as they look to win promotion back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

"Forshaw has hardly set the world alight with Leeds in recent seasons, and Fulham should look elsewhere to find a new central midfielder ahead of next season."

What will Forshaw be thinking after this rumour?

"He'll be wanting his long-term future resolved at the earliest of opportunities.

"Fulham are a side that are likely to be challenging for promotion next season and he's got every reason to be tempted by a move to Craven Cottage.

"But he'll be wanting assurances of regular game time before considering moving to Parker's side, as he's been used on a rotational basis with Leeds recently."

Up close and personal: Fulham

In the build-up to fixture release day, we're taking a look at each of the teams who are new to the Sky Bet Championship this season. Welcome back, Fulham.

Nickname: The Cottagers

Stadium: Craven Cottage (25,700)

Manager: Scott Parker

Recent history

Having reached the Premier League for the first time in 2001, Fulham enjoyed a 13-season stay in the top flight until they suffered relegation in 2014.

They spent four seasons in the second tier until a return via the Play-Offs under the guidance of Slavisa Jokanovic. However, he left the club in November and they appointed Claudio Ranieri, who struggled to improve their situation and duly departed in February.

The London outfit finished the season with Scott Parker in charge, who will look to return Fulham to the Premier League this term.

Current squad

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored 11 goals in 39 games for the Cottagers and amounted a higher number of minutes on the pitch than any of his team-mates.

Centre-back Denis Odoi and highly-rated winger Ryan Sessegnon were the other Fulham players to play the most minutes, as well as loanees Callum Chambers and goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Stefan Johansen, who spent the second half of last season on loan at The Hawthorns, is still under contract for the Cottagers and could feature next term.

Teenager Harvey Elliott became the youngest-ever Premier League player at 16 years and 30 days when he was introduced off the bench during the penultimate game of the season.

Previous meetings

The two sides last met in the 2013/14 campaign, sharing 1-1 draws in both of their Premier League meetings. Substitute Matej Vydra bagged an 86th-minute equaliser at The Hawthorns with the assistance of goal-line technology, with Gareth McAuley having grabbed an even latter leveller in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

In 2010 at The Hawthorns, Albion made a first-half comeback to beat the Cottagers 2-1. A Scott Carson own goal had given the visitors the advantage within the first 10 minutes, but Youssouf Mulumbu and Marc-Antoine Fortune both fired for the Baggies to secure the points.

A lively League Cup game at Craven Cottage in 2005 saw Albion come out on top after extra-time in a tie that yielded five goals. Albion led twice; first through Robert Earnshaw in the third minute before Luis Boa Morte levelled the scores after the hour mark.

Nwankwo Kanu bagged for the Baggies with two minutes to play, but Heidar Helguson netted in the final minute to equalise once more, before Junichi Inamoto sealed an extra-time winner for Albion.

Ryan Sessegnon to Tottenham: Rose's replacement, when Spurs could make their move & transfer fee

The Fulham ace is out of contract at the end of next season

It appears that Ryan Sessegnon will be playing his football elsewhere come August following Fulham's relegation from the Premier League back in May.

Playing a major role in the team's promotion to the top flight via the play-offs 12 months earlier, the 19-year-old suffered a frustrating time throughout the 2018/19 campaign as his side went down without a fight.

The England U21 international only managed two goals in 38 appearances for the Cottagers, but that hasn't put off clubs with Spurs, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with him ahead of the transfer deadline.

Here's what we know about Sessegnon's future so far.

Rose's replacement

Mauricio Pochettino is believed to want Sessegnon as Danny Rose's long-term replacement at Spurs, according to The Sun.

The England left-back is still contracted to the club for another two years but he last week claimed that he's not sure if he will still be at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to his age.

Set to turn 29 at the start of July, Rose alluded to the fact that the club try to move players of a certain age on.

The report suggests that the Lilywhites may have to pay £35million to sign the youngster from the west London club, although they will try and cover that cost by selling Rose for a similar price.

However, despite reported interest from Everton, Man City and Manchester United, it states that his £80,000-a-week wages could prove problematic in terms of moving him on.

When Spurs could make their move

While everyone connected with Tottenham will be hoping they can get a deal for the player done and dusted very soon, it would be a major surprise if he signed on the dotted line this month.

football.london understands that while the club are interested in making a move for Sessegnon they have yet to enter into talks with the west London side over a summer transfer.

However, that could change once the European U21 Championships are over as the player is currently in Italy as part of the England squad.

The Three Lions start their campaign against France on Tuesday night, with further games to come against Romania and Croatia before the knockout phase gets underway at the end of the month.

Fulham contract

It looks like Scott Parker's side are going to have to cash in on the player this summer as he has told Fulham he will not extend his contract that expires in 2020, according to The Guardian.

The report also claims that the player has his heart set on a move to Spurs so he can work under Pochettino despite interest from PSG and Manchester United.

It is believed the manager wants the deal done and dusted by Monday, July 8, the day when the Spurs team report back to Hotspur Way for pre-season training.

Sessegnon's future

The youngster was rather coy about his future towards the end of last season when speaking to Sky Sports.

Quizzed about if he will still be at Craven Cottage come August, he said: "I'm still a Fulham player, contracted until 2020.

"So I'm still a Fulham player and in terms of that, that's all I can say at the moment."

Fulham confirm player departure as Scott Parker prepares for new campaign

Fulham have announced that midfielder, Mattias Kait has left the club to join Slovenian side, NK Domzale on a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Scottish side, Ross County last season, where he made five league appearances in total.

But he seemingly didn't do enough to warrant a place in the Fulham first-team ahead of next year's campaign back in the Championship.

Scott Parker's side were relegated from the Premier League in their first season back in the top-flight.

Kait has been a regular for the Estonian national side, and recently featured in their 8-0 defeat to Germany in their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

The midfielder was a regular for the Fulham under 23's side in recent years, but never broke through to the first-team, which will certainly have come as a frustration.

He first joined Fulham as an academy player back in 2014, after signing from Estonian side, FCI Levadia Tallinn.

Kait earned a new deal with Fulham back in 2017, that would extend his contract until the summer of 2019, but he's evidently not in their plans for the future.

Parker will be hoping to make new signings to help aid their promotion bid next season, but it wouldn't come as a surprise to see other players heading for the exit door at Craven Cottage before the season gets underway in August.

The Verdict:

This isn't a surprise at all.

Kait was never going to force his way into the Fulham first-team anytime soon and this is the best move for both parties involved before the season gets underway.

Fulham need to trim their squad ahead of next season as they adjust to life in the Championship.

Pochettino apparently sees Sessegnon as a left back – but he should be a winger

Ryan Sessegnon has played at left back and left midfield during his career.

Tottenham want Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon to replace Danny Rose this summer, according to a report by the Sun.

They report that Tottenham's policy on older players looks all set to end the Spurs career of Rose, who turns 29 next month.

But the report also says that Spurs are finding it hard to offload Rose because of his £80,000 a week wages, as well as his advancing years.

That means that the deal to bring Sessegnon in as a direct left back replacement must wait – and his involvement in the Under 21 European Championship which kicks off in Italy this week won't help either.

Sessegnon is a hugely talented player and has played as left back and a left midfielder already during his short career – and it seems as if Pochettino sees him as a defender if he wants him to replace Rose.

But much like Gareth Bale when he was a young player, Sessegnon may have come through as a defender but he should end up as a creative, pacy winger.

He has devastating speed, impressive maturity and an eye for goal – he would be wasted at left back if that's where Tottenham want to play him.

It would of course be tough to break into Tottenham's team in a creative midfield role, but that's where Sessegnon should be playing.

Crystal Palace in transfer tussle with European giants for Championship midfielder

Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Fulham midfielder, Jean Michael Seri according to Italian media outlet, Calciomercato.

The report also claims that Italian giants, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also weighing up a transfer swoop for Seri.

Seri made 32 appearances for Fulham last season, but was unable to stop them from being relegated back into the Championship after a short spell in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old only signed for the Lilywhites back in the summer of 2018, but could be heading for the exit door at Craven Cottage in the near future, as Scott Parker looks to trim the wage bill ahead of next season.

He struggled to adapt to life in English football at first, but settled in soon after with some impressive performances towards the back end of last year's campaign.

The Ivorian signed a four-year-deal with Fulham, with the option of a further year, but it seems as though it's only going to be a matter of time before he departs.

Seri could be tempted to give it another shot in England with Crystal Palace, although he'll surely be tempted by a move to either Inter Milan and AC Milan who will be competing in Europe next season.

It's set to be an interesting summer ahead at Fulham, and Seri looks as though he could be one of the players leaving the club before the new season gets underway in August.

The Verdict:

They need to move him on as soon as possible.

Seri is a Premier League-quality player and I would be stunned if he stuck around with Fulham in the Championship next season as he's far too good for them.

He's likely to be one of the highest earners with the club as well, so his departure would be the best move for both parties involved.

Fulham 'well placed' to sign 21-year-old, loan with obligatory buying option

Fulham continue to look like serious contenders to sign Jovane Cabral from Portuguese side Sporting this summer.

Newspaper Jornal de Notícias has a story today saying the Lions are really interested in selling the player, since they're in need of money and he hasn't been getting enough minutes.

It's claimed the Portuguese club started off by demanding €15m for the transfer, but now they'll accept €10m.

The story is focused on claiming Sporting would rather make an 'immediate sale' instead of a loan, but what they have on the table for now could delay this payment a little.

It's said that Fulham are 'well placed' to get the player, but they're currently negotiating for a loan deal with an mandatory buying clause.

It's not said how much the Craven Cottage side would pay for the 21-year-old, although it should clearly be something close to the amounts mentioned.

Jovane had four goals and eight assists in 31 appearances for Sporting last season. He's been playing both on the right and left wing.

Fulham exit could be on the cards

Fulham's Aboubakar Kamara could be on his way back to Turkey, report Turkish outlet Fanatik.

Kamara was loaned to Yeni Malatyaspor in January and it is reported they are in talks to bring him back after he scored one goal in 13 appearances for them in his previous spell.

Fanatik suggest that the player and club have agreed personal terms, and now the deal is dependent on Fulham accepting a £1.5m loan fee.

The Cottagers signed Kamara for more than £5 million in 2017, but he has failed to deliver with just 12 goals in 50 appearances. His ill-discipline led to him being ostracised from the club in January, and it is believed he is not part of Scott Parker's plans.

There could be several departures from Craven Cottage this season, with Aleksandar Mitrovic, Jean Michael Seri and Andre Frank Anguissa all looking likely to move on.

The 24-year-old has never really settled into the Fulham side, and at times last season seemed too desperate to impress. He has talent and room for improvement but removing him from the wage bill will allow Fulham to strengthen ahead of a promotion challenge.

The Verdict

Kamara could have a role to play in the Fulham squad next season, although that may primarily be as an impact player in games where Fulham are behind. A loan deal works for all parties but is probably not the preferred option for Fulham, who would likely rather recoup some of the £5m they spent on him.

However, the money received from this deal should allow Fulham to bring in someone better. Kamara proved last season that he is not the most productive of strikers and not what Fulham need if they are to succeed next year.

Fulham in talks over international winger- First summer signing?

Fulham are in talks with Sporting Lisbon winger Jovane Cabral.

The Cottagers want to sign the 21-year-old on loan with a view to a potential permanent deal, as per a report by Sport Witness.

Scott Parker is in the hunt for some new signings this summer as he looks to put his own stamp on the Craven Cottage club. They have also been linked with a move for Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw.

Cabral, who is a Cape Verde international, would offer the Whites another option out wide and more depth in the attacking department.

The youngster started his career in his native country with Grémio Nhagar before joining Sporting four years ago. He initially broke into their B team and made 34 appearances for them.

Cabral then became part of Sporting's first-team fold and was handed a handful of appearances in the last campaign.

A loan move to Fulham could be appealing to both Cabral and Sporting as it would give him a chance to get some regular first-team football under his belt.

Fulham have the core of a strong squad and will no doubt be competing at the top end of the Championship next season. Their fans will be hopeful that Parker can bring in some players this summer and Cabral would be an exciting signing for the London outfit.

Ryan Sessegnon and Aleksander Mitrovic are expected to leave the Whites over the coming months which will free up money to spend on new signings.

EXCLUSIVE: Leeds United Make Bid For In-Demand Fulham Youngster

Leeds United have made a 'significant bid' for Fulham's 17-year old starlet Cody Drameh.

Fulham were desperate to keep hold of the latest gem to emerge from their thriving academy set-up but now look set to cash in on him with his contract expiring at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs to have shown interest in the England youth international, while recent reports indicated that Drameh was on his way to Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, sources say that Premier League hopefuls Leeds made an offer for the talented teenage defender at Midday today. The decision is in Fulham's hands but Drameh is listing to offers.

Image: PA

Right-back Drameh, who chose football ahead of basketball, was a regular for Mark Pembridge's Under 23 side last season, playing 17 times in Premier League 2.

Fulham are also losing out on Harvey Elliott, the youngest player to play in the Premier League, after he failed to agree a new contract.

Elliott made history last month when he became the youngest player ever to play in the Premier League.

Born on 4 April 2003, he entered the fray as a late substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Wolves and broke the previous record set by former Fulham left-back Matthew Briggs against Middlesbrough 12 years ago.

He will soon be available on a free, however, with Barcelona and RB Leipzig said to be waiting in the wings for the England Under-17 international.

Elliott and Drameh join a long list of Fulham squad members who care considering from the club including Matt O'Reilly, Ryan Sessegnon, Jerome Opoku and Cameron Thompson.

Leeds United make move to sign player from Championship rivals

Leeds United have reportedly made an offer for a teenager from rival Championship club, Fulham.

Cody Drameh, 17, is the latest academy prospect to be thriving at Fulham, but he has allegedly been subjected to a bid from Leeds United, according to a SportBible exclusive.

The teenager played for the U23s last season at right-back and has attracted interest from some of Europe's finest clubs, including Liverpool, according to the previous report.

Goal's Ronan Murphy tweeted that he was set to have a medical at Eintracht Frankfurt on June 13, but nothing is yet to be materialised.

According to 'sources' from SportBible, Leeds made an offer at around midday today.

This would not be the first youngster Fulham have missed out on in recent times, with Fulham losing out on the youngest player in to play in the Premier League – Harvey Elliot.

According to The Sun, Harvey Elliot, 16, will leave on a free and is a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Verdict

Losing out on Drameh will be a significant loss for Fulham, especially within the context of losing out on Harvey Elliot.

With the club making some poor decisions last summer by spending far too much without any sense of direction, being able to keep their young players is really important as they look to rebuild.

The club has a fantastic youth system and it will be damming if he moves to Leeds.

It's a huge statement to the other youth players in the squad if two of their best feel like they need to move on.

Fulham's Scott Parker and Huw Jennings explain how teenager was destined for success ahead of England's UEFA Under-21 Euros campaign

England's UEFA Under-21 European Championship opener against France on Tuesday is a chance for Ryan Sessegnon to take another forward step in a career that has led him to be described as a "youth icon".

Last season Sessegnon made 35 Premier League appearances for Fulham, scoring twice and providing six assists, all before his 19th birthday.

His emergence was one of the bright points in an otherwise testing season for the west London club, who suffered relegation.

It was also testament to Fulham's Academy, where many could see a young player with the right frame of mind to achieve success.

'Special talent'

"Ryan Sessegnon is a special talent, really," Fulham head coach Scott Parker said at the 2019 Premier League Youth Development Conference last month.

"Technical yes, but the biggest attribute for me is he's got a mentality about him which was always going to be successful."

Born in Roehampton, just a few miles from Fulham's Craven Cottage stadium, Sessegnon came through the youth system and made his first-team debut at just 16 years of age.

'Youth football icon'

Three years on he is a role model for those seeking to emulate his rise through the ranks.

"I don't think it's too much of an accolade to describe Ryan as a youth football icon," Huw Jennings, Fulham's Academy manager, said.

"He's played in excess of 100 senior games, and it shows a great maturity and a humility in the way in which he conducts himself."

History-maker

Sessegnon was not the only Fulham teenager handed his chance in the Premier League last season.

Team-mate Harvey Elliott also made his Premier League debut in 2018/19, in doing so becoming the youngest player in the competition's history at the age of 16 years and 30 days.

Elliott got his chance thanks to Parker's faith in him, despite his young age.

It's a philosophy at Fulham that applies to Parker himself.

He got promoted from first-team coach at Craven Cottage at the age of 38 after moving to Fulham in the summer from being Tottenham Hotspur's Under-18 manager.

Jennings is proud of the development of Sessegnon and Elliott and the mental strength they have built at the club.

Elliott maturity

"Ryan and Harvey are symbols of our work throughout the programme," Jennings said.

"When Scott became manager, he instantly thought there would be an opportunity for Harvey to come in towards the end of the season.

"To be able to demonstrate a maturity in an adult environment as a 16-year-old is absolutely critical.

"There's a maturity in terms of his play but a maturity also in terms of the way in which he conducts himself."

Barcelona set to rival Real Madrid for relegated Premier League superstar

The rivals lock horns again as both, Barcelona and Real Madrid have their sights set on a common transfer target in the 16 year-old winger from Fulham, Harvey Elliot, according to The Sun.

Back in May, Barcelona target Harvey Elliott made history by becoming the youngest player ever to record a premier league appearance at 16 years and 30 days old, beating the record set previously by Matthew Briggs from Fulham (16 years and 68 days).

However, it is believed that the 16 year-old winger has rejected a new deal at Fulham following their relegation and he is expected to come out of the Craven Cottage as a free agent.
Elliot can fit in well in the Barça starting XI, replacing Coutinho who has been lackluster in his stint with the Club. With age heavily favouring him, the 16 year-old can be also viewed as a long-term option to take up the mantle of Messi, when he does decide to hang up his boots.

Fulham captain, Tom Cairney described Harvey as a sensation and it has to be noted that apart from the Spanish Giants, the German club in RB Lepzig have their sights locked on to Harvey, as well.
As per The Sun, "his appearance against Wolves last month will push his training compensation into the millions for an English club".
It is believed that a club outside of England needs to offer a sum close to £200,000 to acquire the services of the Winger and this sum is enough to tempt any one of the three clubs into snapping the 16 year-old this summer.

It's been a busy transfer window for both Real Madrid and Barcelona this time around with the Galacticos having snapped up a major signing in Eden Hazard and a few other quality players in Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy and Eder Militao.
Barça on the other hand, have been heavily linked to a Griezmann move to The Nou this summer and an expected Coutinho exit. However, having only signed the Dutch wonderkid in Frenkie de Jong, the Blaugranes will be eager to pip their bitter rivals in this race, having already lost one to them this window when Real Madrid beat Barça by acquiring Takefusa Kubo, fondly known as the 'Japanese Messi'.

Valverde is due for a major squad overhaul and there should not be any doubt about it. Barça will be eager to make their second signing of the summer and with Griezmann links not fading away, one can expect some big name signings by Barcelona. The future is certainly exciting and only time can tell one the fate of these transfer battles.

Aleksandar Mitrovic resale could provide Newcastle United with 'knock on' transfer market boost - as Serbian international midfielder is eyed

The imminent sale of former striker Aleksandar Mitrovic by recently relegated Fulham could be set to hand Newcastle United a summer transfer boost - whether Rafa Benitez remains on Tyneside or not.

Mitrovic was offloaded by United last summer for an undisclosed fee, with potential to rise to £27million, as per reports at the time.

And while some caveats of that deal may well have been chalked off with the Craven Cottage outfit's relegation from the Premier League, it's not stopped Scott Parker's men attempting to reignite their interest in Dwight Gayle.

And according to reports, should they recoup a hefty sum for Serbia international frontman Mitrovic, who is interesting Bayer Leverkusen and Real Betis, as well as being linked to the likes of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, Gayle is at the top of their wishlist this summer.

While United value Gayle in the region of £20million, it is thought an offer of around £15million might well be enough to sign the 28-year-old, who is currently away on a summer break with his family before his planned return to United pre-season training on Thursday, July 4.

Despite sending him out on loan last season to West Brom, Benitez is a fan of former Crystal Palace striker Gayle. He is a player the Spaniard would like to keep at St James's Park in an ideal world, should he stay, but budgetary constraints would likely mean Gayle is moved on in order to add further quality in the forward areas.

New Baggies boss Slaven Bilic would also like to see Gayle, also linked with Midlands rivals Aston Villa this summer, return to the Hawthorns, where he contributed 24 goals in an ultimately doomed Premier League promotion attempt.

But with West Brom cutting their cloth to suit, facing up to a second season in the second tier, it's unlikely they will be able to afford players such as Gayle, who commands a wage of more than £50,000 a week at United, having been tempted to drop a division last summer with a pay rise.

Meanwhile, United have been linked with a move for Guangzhou Evergrande midfielder Nemanja Gudelj.

Portuguese publication O Jogo state United face competition from Sporting, where the 27-year-old spent last season on loan, as well as Betis, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

3 realistic Jean Seri replacements that Fulham can consider if he leaves

Ahead of their first season back in the Championship, Fulham will be looking to be shrewd in the transfer window to ensure they can bounce back and achieve promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

One player they seem likely to be without for next season's promotion push is Jean-Micheal Seri, who reportedly has Inter Milan and AC Milan battling for him.

The 27-year-old arrived at Craven Cottage in a big-money move last summer but had a disappointing season for the London club, making 34 appearances and grabbing just one goal and three assists.

Despite his underwhelming season, Scott Parker will need to find an alternative to Seri if he does depart in the summer transfer window.

It appears likely the Ivory Coast international will leave Fulham this summer and we have highlighted three players that could be realistic replacements if he does depart...

Josh Brownhill
The 23-year-old had an excellent season under Lee Johnson in 2018/19 and was a key figure as Bristol City came very close to qualifying for the playoffs.

A high-energy midfielder who has a good range of passing and quick feet, Brownhill scored six goals and created four in 49 appearances last season.

With 120 Championship appearances already to his name, the club should be confident that he could thrive if he makes the move.

Cameron McGeehan
McGeehan was brilliant in the 2018/19 campaign, helping Barnsley seal their return to League One.

A high tempo player who is superb both with and without possession, the 24-year-old would be an exciting prospect if Fulham can prize him away from Oakwell.

The central midfielder scored six goals and grabbed two assists in 44 appearances last season and was named in the EFL League One team of the year.

Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu
Another exciting young midfielder in a newly promoted team, Mpanzu was the beating heart of a Luton Town side sealed back to back promotions as they won League One last season.

Mpanzu played in multiple positions around a midfield diamond with the Hatters and is a quality player both defensively and moving forward, meaning he could offer Fulham some versatility in the centre of the park.

Fulham may face some competition from Stoke City as former Luton boss Nathan Jones is reportedly interested in reuniting with the midfielder.

I'd add PNE's 24 year old Ben Pearson to that list. Very good defensive midfielder - can play but can also defend and won't bother with prisoners at Stoke on that famous wet Wednesday night

Burt

Some chat on twitter this morning that Mitro may stick around for another season. Given Twitter is 99% crap, not sure how much substance there is to this.
