Now Trippier has gone to Spain, and Danny Rose is potentially off to Paris, do you think this could be a ploy by Spurs to offer a little bit more cash for both twins?
It is levy tho, and he'd prefer to trade in haribo and panini cards, but if they need both LB and RB the twins could be ideal.

David Levy vs Tony Khan talk about an opportunity to prove himself.

I really like both these lads and they potentially have great futures ahead of them - but let's be realistic- neither are Spurs regular first team player standards now - and Stephen has played 100 minutes of first team football in two years.

Selling three experienced full backs in Walker, Trippier and Rose, however you may rate them, seems rather strange.

Replacing them with the Sessegnons would be truly bizarre. For all their potential, Steven has not yet secured his place in the Fulham side and I would not play Ryan as a full back for Fulham (his best performances for us have been in an advanced position) ahead of Bryan and possibly Odoi. Spurs would be taking quite a risk buying Ryan given his performances in the PL last season. Does anyone here think Ryan currently merits a Spurs starting place?

It is a very odd decision from Spurs. All three are England internationals, or could be. And for selling them so cheaply in the current climate, is even more bizarre.
Neither Steven or Ryan are ready for a top four starting place, yet. And yet is the word.

Tabby

I don't think Steven will go, his name has dropped out of the reports recently and he has gotten a lot of exposure on the offal.

Mince n Tatties

They've got better than Sess lined up,they wouldn't be letting fullbacks go like that.

:plus one:

Not saying they wouldn't embrace Sess, but both players they are letting go are better defenders than he is, and they definitely have better winger attacking players than him already...so he'd be a depth move.

But considering there have been no bids in like...FOREVER...who knows.
