Fulham 3-4 Dulwich Hamlet

Dulwich Hamlet mounted an impressive comeback to stay top of the League

Dulwich Hamlet came from 3-2 down to complete a late 4-3 victory over London rivals Fulham.

Playing to a crowd of over 450 at Fulham's Motspur Park ground, Dulwich took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Liz Wicks and Ella Wales Bonner. However, Fulham got themselves back to the game and by midway into the second half were 3-2 up.

A left-footed volley from Rosie Stone levelled the score in the 69th minute, before Ana de Pelegrin's strike three minutes later gave Dulwich a 4-3 lead and meant they return to Champion Hill with all three points.

The result means that Dulwich Hamlet stay top of the London & South East Regional Women's League. QPR, below us in second place but with three games in hand, are our next opponents in the League and we host them at Champion Hill on Sunday 8th December.

Next up for the Women's team are Leyton Orient on Wednesday night at the Mile End Stadium, kick off 7:45pm, in the Second Round of the Combined Counties Cup.

ulham fans have every right to be delighted but must be wary of potentially costly team characteristic

Fulham picked up a significant three points on Friday night as they look to continue their push for an immediate return to the Premier League.

They came from behind in a West London derby against QPR at Craven Cottage with Aboubakar Kamara netting both goals in a 2-1 win after Jordan Hugill had given the visitors an early lead.

It was a result that moved Scott Parker's side up the table and into fourth place, and also to within just five points of the automatic promotion places.

But how should the fans be feeling following this important win?

There were a lot of positives for the Cottage faithful to take home with them heading into the weekend. The most glaring one was their ability to grind out a win in the absence of talismanic striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Kamara really stepped up, offering a battling, physical performance that his Serbian teammate would have been proud of, and that willingness to stand up and be counted should give the fans real confidence in Parker's approach to management.

Another would be their half-time resurgence. Fulham were poor in the first-half and for the first 25 minutes or so they were awful. QPR could and probably should have been at least two up going into half-time.

But on Friday night we saw Parker's ability to identify what was going wrong for his side on the pitch and change things up. He told us after the game that he dropped Tom Cairney deeper in oder to help them win the midfield battle and it paid dividends as they largely dominated the second 45.

So there is a lot to be encouraged about and the fans should celebrate their continuing climb up the second tier table.

But they should also be wary. Once again, this was a match where the Whites failed to put in a complete 90 minute performance. It has happened before this season, most notably against Barnsley, Nottingham Forest and Hull. On those occasions they were rightly punished.

So whilst there is well earned joy at the latest league standings, Fulham fans should know that unless they begin putting in performances for a complete 90 minutes, then those promotion dreams will quickly fade.

Your questions answered on Swansea City's woeful home form, Matt Grimes and January transfer window plans

The full Q&A with fans following the 1-0 defeat to Millwall

It was a miserable weekend for Swansea City as they suffered their fourth home league defeat of the campaign.

Jed Wallace's second half free-kick proved enough for Gary Rowett's Millwall to claim all three points at the Liberty Stadium.

However, ahead of their clash with Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night, Steve Cooper's men are still the only English Football League side unbeaten away from home in the league this term.

It's sure to be a hectic week for the Swans, with Fulham coming to town on Friday night aswell.

Ahead of the two big games, we held a Q&A with supporters on all things Swansea.

We discussed a range of topics including Matt Grimes, the poor home form and plans for the January transfer window.

You can relive the Q&A in full below.

Parker handed welcome headache as Fulham show strength in depth: Comment

A brace from Aboubakar Kamara gave Fulham a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Friday night.

It was the Frenchman's first and second goals of the season on Friday night, in what was a characterful performance from Fulham against their London neighbours.

Jordan Hugill gave the visiting QPR an unexpected lead after just three minutes before Kamara headed home an equaliser midway through the first-half.

He scored his second when QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley gave the ball away to Stefan Johansen, who fed in Kamara to finish from close range after the hour-mark.

It was probably his best performance to date in a Fulham shirt, and it gives Parker and Fulham a whole new outlet in their so-far this season one-dimensional attack.

It was always going to be a tough night for Kamara, who made his first league start since the opening day defeat to Barnsley.

He was filling in for the suspended Aleksandar Mitrovic – the Championship's top-scorer with 12 in 16 picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in his side's 1-0 win over Birmingham City before the international break.

The 24-year-old Kamara gave a sterling performance in the Serb's absence, though, and has given his manager Scott Parker something to think about when he picks his squad to face Derby County tomorrow night.

A fully-rested Mitrovic will surely walk back into the Fulham starting line-up and given their 4-3-3 formation with Ivan Cavaleiro and Anthony Knockaert locking down the wing positions, Kamara may again be watching from the bench.

Nevertheless, it was a fine performance from Kamara on Saturday. He gives Fulham something a bit different to what Mitrovic does – Mitrovic is more of a poacher, a player who feeds off of service into the box and loose balls in and around the keeper. Kamara can do that as well, his first-goal on Saturday was 'Mitrovic-esque', but also has that ability to pick up the ball and run towards defenders.

But could the pair start together up-front? There's no doubting Mitrovic's presence against Derby tomorrow night and Parker has persisted with the same tactics all season, and he'd be unlikely to change them now to fit both forwards on the pitch.

Kamara will more than likely be on the bench tomorrow – a spot on the wing isn't beyond possibility but would Parker drop either of Cavaleiro or Knockaert for him? He's surely bound for more game-time off the bench after Friday, but Kamara probably won't share the pitch with Mitrovic all that much for Fulham.

Loan Watch: Derby delight for Reed

Southampton's out on loan midfielder Harrison Reed played his part in Fulham's West London derby win over QPR on Friday night.

Aboubakar Kamara was the star of the show at Craven Cottage as his two goals moved the Championship side up to fourth in the table.

Unfortunately Reed was forced off with an injury in the 54th minute, but the Cottagers still went on to record a 2-1 victory over their local rivals.

It was also a successful weekend for Fraser Foster; his efforts keeping out 8th placed Livingston at Celtic Park on Saturday not only helped the league leaders to a 4-0 victory, but also saw him top the league's clean sheet tally charts for the season.

The fellow Saint loanee enjoying life north of the border, Mohamed Elyounoussi, was not included in the match-day squad after being injured whilst on international duty with Norway during the week.

In Europe, defender Wesley Hoedt played the full 90 minutes for fourth placed Royal Antwerp, as they equalised in the 94th minute at third place Gent in the Belgian Pro League.

'Cottage was rocking that night' – Many Fulham fans reminisce following club throwback post

Fulham fans will have been in buoyant mood this week after seeing their side secure a priceless 2-1 win over local rivals QPR last Friday, with Aboubakar Kamara's brace extending the Cottagers' strong run of form.

Scott Parker will have been delighted with the way his side went about their business, with the Whites dealing with the absence of top scorer and star player Aleksandar Mitrovic well.

Supporters will have been delighted to see Kamara finally get off the mark this term, with the 24-year-old forward finally adding goals to his hard-working displays for the Whites.

With Fulham hosting an inconsistent Derby County side at Craven Cottage tomorrow, Parker will be hoping for a repeat showing from his charges.

The home crowd will no doubt have been fired up yesterday as the club's official Twitter account posted a throwback post in tribute to Denis Odoi's memorable header against Derby last season.

3 things we learned about Fulham after their 2-1 win over QPR

Fulham resumed their Championship campaign with a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on Friday night.

The home side were pegged back after three minutes by QPR's Jordan Hugill, but a brace from Aboubakar Kamara either side of half-time gave Fulham the win which takes them to 4th in the Championship.

It was their fifth win of the season at Craven Cottage and takes their home tally to 17 points from a possible 27 before they host Derby County tomorrow night.

Here we take a look at three things we've learned about Fulham after their 2-1 win over QPR:

Kamara can cover for Mitrovic

Going into the game, Fulham fans might've expected a long evening without Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Championship's top-scorer picked up a fifth yellow card of the season against Birmingham City before the international break, meaning he was suspended for the QPR game.

Aboubakar Kamara stepped in to make his first league start since August and scored his first and second goals of the season to win it for Scott Parker.

Few expected the Frenchman to lead the line as well as he did. He came in to big boots leading the Fulham front-line and in both his goals, showed his all-round quality up-front.

A nicely taken header in the first-half and a one-on-one in the second, Kamara will be held in much higher regards after that performance.

Fulham's 'nasty' side

Falling behind early on could've set the tone for a rampant QPR performance but Fulham showed their Premier League quality to come back and win it.

Parker's side showed great character and grit to come back and they did it with a 'nasty' touch. The home side took advantage of the derby atmosphere and got in the faces of QPR players – Ebere Eze is often the match-winner for QPR but he was bullied at Craven Cottage on Friday night.

Fulham will need that professionalism and tenacity from now until May if they're to have a realistic chance at promotion.

Parker's persistence paying off?

The spotlight was on Parker at the start of the month. His side had dropped out of the top-six and after succumbing to a 3-0 defeat at home to Hull City at the start of November, the pressure was really on the former Fulham midfielder.

His biggest criticism was that he'd been too persistent with a possession-based game and that he couldn't adapt to different situations. But is that persistence now paying off?

Fulham stuck to their guns and responded with a win and a clean sheet at Birmingham before Friday's derby win over QPR. They were deserving of the win that night and were an entertaining watch, dominating QPR for much of the game and putting on an exciting display.

'Legendary', 'Shut up the haters' – Loads of Fulham fans react after 24-y/o offers post match thoughts

Loads of Fulham fans have reacted to Aboubakar Kamara's latest update after the attacker put in a heroic display against QPR on Friday night.

With Aleksandar Mitrovic suspended, the Frenchman was called into the starting XI by Scott Parker for just the second time in the league this season, and it paid of handsomely.

After Jordan Hugill had put the visitors ahead inside three minutes, it was Kamara who dragged his side back into proceedings, first heading home Denis Odoi's cross to ensure they went in level at the break before capitalising on a Joe Lumley error in the second half to give his side the lead.

He is someone who has not always had the easiest time at Craven Cottage, with a big part of that down to his own actions at times, but this was a game where he really endeared himself to the fans.

So, after he shared an update on Instagram on Sunday, it was no surprise to see so many positive responses...

Villa fans give mixed reaction to any potential bid for former Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic

Newcastle's clash with Aston Villa is not the only link between the clubs in today's headlines, with Darren Bent tipping the Midlands side to move for Aleksandar Mitrovic in January.

Mitrovic made 72 appearances for Newcastle, but scored just 17 goals during his time on Tyneside, with Rafa Benitez often not trusting the Serbian enough to give him a run in the starting lineup.

He moved to Fulham, and has scored 35 goals for the London side. 'Mitro' surprised many when he opted to stay at Craven Cottage following the club's relegation to the Championship.

He has been scoring for fun in the second tier so far, grabbing 12 goals from 17 games this season, which sees Fulham sit fourth in the Championship table, just five points off an automatic promotion place.

His current form has seen Bent suggest a club like Villa should take a chance on the former Toon man, and bring him back to the Premier League.

Fulham may not sell Mitrovic in January

Of course, whether or not Fulham would be willing sellers, would remain to be seen, as they will fancy their chances of securing automatic promotion back to the Premier League themselves, this season.

They would have a dilemma, if a sizeable bid is made, as he is undoubtedly one of their most valuable assets.

They could sell him, and bring in some big money to ease any financial burden placed on them, after dropping out of the top division, while being able to invest in strengthening their squad.

But on the flip-side, without him, they may not be in a position to sustain a realistic promotion push.

As prolific as he is in the Championship, there are still questions over his ability in the Premier League, and he was summed up quite succinctly by one Villa fan who tweeted: "He's what I call a tweener. Too good for the championship, not good enough for the prem."

If Villa do decide to move for Mitrovic, judging from the intial Twitter comments, it would divide their fans, who offered mixed reactions to the suggestion, ahead of the Newcastle game tonight.

'Best performance I've seen from him' – Fulham fan pundit waxes lyrical about 24-y/o's impact

This article is part of Football League World's 'Regular Punter' series, where we gather original opinions from select, passionate fans of the clubs concerned on matters surrounding their team and share them with a wider audience...

Football League World's Fulham fan pundit Charles Jones has provided his verdict on Aboubakar Kamara's performance against west London rivals QPR on Friday, with the 24-year-old having netted a brace to gift the Whites all three points.

The Frenchman has found his game time largely limited this season, due to the form that has been displayed by Aleksandar Mitrovic, who leads the way in the Championship top scorers list with 12 strikes to his name.

Kamara has started just twice under Scott Parker this term, with a further seven appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.

However with the striker now off the mark for the season, perhaps his manager will be more open to giving him a role in his starting eleven in the coming weeks and months.

We caught up with Jones earlier today, and here is what our Fulham fan pundit had to say on Kamara's goal-scoring impact:

"I think Kamara was excellent against QPR, it wasn't just his two goals that earns him his Man of the Match award, he was incredible at stretching the defence and running in behind.

"It's potentially the best performance I've seen from him since he joined Fulham.

"Mitrovic is the top scorer in the division, but can you really drop someone who's just scored twice in a derby?

"I don't think he'll be first choice but I think he could get the odd chance here or there."

Jones then summed up the way that Kamara has improved since joining the Whites back in 2017:

"He is much better than he used to be.

"When he first joined he seemed to have no composure, but he took his chances really well on Friday.

"I'd rather see him up front than on the wing from now on."

It will certainly be interesting to see how Parker utilises the services of Kamara in the coming months, with the Whites clearly possessing a player who can make a difference in tightly contested games, the former Charlton Athletic man could be keen for the 24-year-old striker to have more starting opportunities this term.

'I wouldn't really want to veer away from that' – Tactical tweak for Fulham? Fan pundit discusses

This article is part of Football League World's 'Regular Punter' series, where we gather original opinions from select, passionate fans of the clubs concerned on matters surrounding their team and share them with a wider audience...

Football League World's Fulham fan pundit Charles Jones has given his thoughts on the Cottagers' style of play, with the Whites having largely operated in a 4-3-3 formation for much of this campaign.

However Scott Parker may now be considering a tweak of his current system, particularly after Aboubakar Kamara's goal-scoring performance on Friday night against QPR.

The Fulham boss may now be keen to experiment with the way he sets his team up in their upcoming matches, with the possibility of starting two strikers up front sure to be under consideration.

We caught up with Jones earlier this week, and here is what the Fulham fan pundit had to say on the potential switch in tactics for the Whites:

"We've played a 4-3-3 for as long as I remember and it's worked so I wouldn't really want to veer away from that, especially when you consider the talent we have on the wings.

"Kamara is a capable striker at this level, but I couldn't justify dropping Knockaert or Cavaleiro for him.

"In theory though, Kamara and Mitrovic would certainly complement each other's strengths well.

"I believe we should stick with what we have got for now, before reassessing the situation in January, with Parker likely to want to strengthen the squad further, if there are funds available to him."

It will be interesting to see if Parker would be open to experimenting with his formation, with the Whites set to face a wide array of sides in the Championship, that all have different strengths and weaknesses, thus meaning that there will surely be an opportunity to go with two up top in some games.

Meanwhile, the Cottagers will be on home turf once again tomorrow night, with Parker's side playing host to an inconsistent Derby County side who are seeking to climb the table.

Ryan Sessegnon sends message to Fulham ace following Friday night performance

Former Fulham and current Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ryan Sessegnon has reacted to Aboubakar Kamara's latest showing during the Whites' 2-1 win against QPR on Friday night.

With Aleksandar Mitrovic suspended, the Frenchman was called into the starting XI by Scott Parker for just the second time in the league this season, and it paid of handsomely.

And after the versatile attacker shared his post match thoughts on Instagram, Sessegnon too piled on the praise in the comment section, writing simply: "AK🔥🔥".

The two goals took his tally for the club to 18 goals in 60 appearances, including three in the Premier League last season.

The result against their West London rivals took Scott Parker and his side up into fourth place as they look to make an immediate return to the top-flight.

Sessegnon, however, has already made that return, signing for Tottenham during the summer transfer window although so far the 19-year-old has just one 15 minute cameo appearance to his name.

Ex-Fulham and Middlesbrough star Fernando Amorebieta sent off for biting opponent

The defender receiving his marching orders during a match in Paraguay on Sunday when he sank his teeth into an opposition forward

This is the shocking moment former Fulham defender Fernando Amorebieta is red-carded during a derby match in Paraguay for biting a rival.

The centre-back, who was on the receiving end of a bite attack while he played for the Cottagers, was caught on camera head-butting an opposition striker before sinking his teeth into the back of his head as he grabbed him by the neck.

The ref wasted little time in sending Amorebieta off as Nestor Camacho rolled around on the ground.

The disgraceful incident happened in the 82nd minute of the crunch derby between Cerro Porteno, where the Venezuelan-born 34-year-old now plays his football, and Olympia de Asuncion.

Surprisingly Camacho was also given his marching orders, despite the footage showing Amorebieta was the clear aggressor although his rival appeared to try to elbow him as he was being grabbed around the neck.

In March 2016 Leeds striker Souleymane Doukara was banned for eight matches after biting Amorebieta, who also spent time on loan at Middlesbrough.

The then-24-year-old was punished for sinking his teeth into the defender during an off-the-ball scuffle inside the Leeds penalty area during a 1-1 Championship draw with Fulham at Elland Road the previous month.

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez was handed a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic whilst at Liverpool before being told he could play no part in any football activities for four months following a similar incident at the 2014 World Cup involving Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.

A FIFA spokesman said ahead of the second Suarez ban: "Such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a World Cup."

Social media users were having a field day with the images of the latest incident.

Two-goal Fulham man will surely be immensley proud after proving doubters wrong on Friday night

Aboubakara Kamara is somebody who will have undoubtedly enjoyed his weekend after inspiring Fulham to a Friday night win against QPR.

His work rate was exceptional and he took both goals very well. A performance that Mitrovic himself would have been proud to produce.

So, how will Kamara himself be feeling after his inspring performance?

Having started just his second game of the campaign, Kamara must have left Craven Cottage on Friday night feeling immensley proud of himself, and rightly so.

He has been a figure of ridicule at times in South West London but there was nothing to ridicule against the R's. This was a man who was offered chance to shine and grabbed it hard with both hands.

He has often been wasteful in front of goal but that was not the case here, taken both goals with ruthless efficiency.

Laziness is another accusation that has been thrown his way, but he was everywhere on Friday, making clever runs off the ball, tracking back throughout the 90 and clearing set-pieces in his own area throughout.

He will of couse also know that he will not have displaced Mitrovic. And there is no shame in that at all. The Serbian is a Premier League striker playing in the Championship at the end of the day.

But he will now that he has nailed down that position as his understudy, and perhaps maybe even his partner.

South Shields' youngsters seal historic win in FA Youth Cup and their reward is Fulham away in the next round
South Shields sealed their place in the third round of the FA Youth Cup for the first time in the club's history as they saw off Hartlepool United in another captivating tie at Mariners Park on Friday.

The young Mariners will travel to Fulham in round three after a display full of spirit and endeavour helped them defeat their North East neighbours 3-2.

Sam Hodgson gave them an 18th minute lead with a typically cool finish and Shields reacted well to conceding an equaliser later in the first half, with Hodgson rattling in a penalty to restore the advantage less than two minutes after the restart.

Prolific defender Ben Errington headed in a third with eight minutes left but there was still to be a nervy ending, which was brought about by a stunning strike from distance by Hartlepool's Jack Leonard.

Shields were not to be denied, though, and saw out the remaining minutes to spark joyous celebrations as the Under-18s' hugely impressive run in the competition continued.

n a frantic opening to the game, both sides had opportunities to open the scoring although it was Pools who went closest to doing so.

Mathew Wade produced a vital last-ditch tackle to prevent one goal before Aaron Willoughby curled a shot wide from the edge of the box and Shields goalkeeper Ethan Hodgson made an important interception to deny Jack Leonard what looked like a tap-in.

Shields grew into proceedings and fired their first warning as Will Morris delivered a cross from the right which was met by Joao Gomes and saved by Bradley Young in the Pools goal.

The young Mariners almost took the lead in the 13th minute when Morris shifted the ball onto his left foot just outside the area and fired an effort which took a deflection and was brilliantly tipped over by Young.

The home side did make the breakthrough five minutes later after a sweeping move which was concluded as Will Jenkins slipped the ball through to Hodgson, who took a touch before stroking a shot past Young and into the corner.

Hartlepool reacted well to going a goal behind and began to pressurise the Shields goal, with Dom Agnew forced into making an important clearance from a corner soon after.

Joe Grey then had a good chance to draw the visitors level as he connected with a floated cross from the right, but his shot from a promising position comfortably cleared the crossbar.

Shields could have extended their advantage on the half-hour as Stephen Black played a pass inside from the left to Jenkins on the edge of the box and he met it first time, only for his effort to take a deflection before kissing the outside of the post.

Pools countered from that corner and got back on level terms as Grey made up for his earlier miss with a terrific strike from 25 yards which went in via the post.

Less than a minute later, the young Mariners had a golden opportunity to retake the lead as Gomes tricked his way into a great position before being tripped in the box.

A penalty was awarded and up stepped Hodgson to thump it into the top corner for his second goal of the night.

Hartlepool had the better of the remainder of the half and looked certain to level when a loose Ethan Hodgson clearance presented a big chance to Grey, but the goalkeeper recovered superbly to deny the frontman and maintain his side's advantage.

Hodgson made another important save seven minutes before half-time as he tipped a piledriver from Harrison Webster wide, and in stoppage time a header from Jay Gibson went onto the roof of the net.

It had been an action-packed 45 minutes and that theme continued after the break.

Hodgson saved brilliantly from Leonard within four minutes of the restart and at the other end, an equally impressive stop from Young denied Morris after he let fly from the right of the box. Josh Croft headed not far over from the resulting corner.

Hodgson produced another strong save from Leonard and then Grey to keep Shields' noses in front, and their efforts were almost rewarded in the 72nd minute when Errington's header from a Jenkins free-kick hit the top of the bar.

Pools thought they had levelled from a corner with 11 minutes left, but Hodgson this time produced a tremendous double save from point-blank range to deny them.

Shields got the breathing space they had been craving with eight minutes left as Errington forced in a corner from Jenkins but the tie was far from over.

Pools hit back three minutes from the end with a tremendous strike from distance on the right from Leonard which arrowed into the top corner.

They were unable to create an opportunity to equalise, though, as Shields saw the rest of the game out effectively.

The young Mariners can now look forward to an exciting trip to Fulham in the third round.

SOUTH SHIELDS: E Hodgson, Wade, Croft, Ames, Errington, Agnew, Morris, S Black (Dunn 62), S Hodgson, Jenkins (Taylor 87), Gomes (Ryland 81). Subs not used: L Black, Steavens, Spraggon, Wilkinson.

Goals: S Hodgson (18, 32 pen), Errington (82).

Fulham vs Derby preview: Championship clash live on Sky Sports Football Red Button
Watch live on Sky Sports Football Red Button and the Sky Sports app from 7.40pm on Tuesday; Kick-off is at 7.45pm

Fulham face Derby in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports Football Red Button.

Team news

Aboubakar Kamara is pushing for a start for Fulham's Sky Bet Championship clash with Derby on Tuesday. The forward stepped in for the suspended Aleksandar Mitrovic on Friday night and scored both goals in Fulham's 2-1 win over local rivals QPR.

Mitrovic is available for the derby clash, but manager Scott Parker could have a decision to make over who starts up front. Parker has no fresh injury concerns to contend with.

Derby are likely to be without duo Graham Shinnie and Mason Bennett for the trip to London. The pair both limped off in the first half of their side's 1-0 home win over Preston on Saturday, Shinnie with a hamstring problem and Bennett an ankle injury.

Defender Scott Malone (knee) and midfielders Tom Huddlestone (knee) and Ikechi Anya (calf) are expected to also remain sidelined.

Recent form

Fulham's inconsistency - and the pressure it put on Scott Parker - over the last month seems to have evaporated for the time being, with the Whites taking six points from the last two games: A 1-0 win at Birmingham and a 2-1 west London derby victory at home to QPR on Friday night.

Derby, however, can't seem to put a run of victories together at present. Phillip Cocu's men beat Preston 1-0 last time out, but lost to Nottingham Forest before the international break.

Opta stats

Fulham have lost just one of their last 14 home league matches against Derby County (W7 D6 L1), a 1-0 defeat in April 1969.

Six of the last seven league meetings between Fulham and Derby at Craven Cottage have ended as draws.

Fulham have a higher possession figure (66.6%) and high percentage of short passes (90.2%) than any other team in the Championship this season.

Derby haven't lost four consecutive away league matches since March 2017 under Steve McClaren.

Fulham striker Aboubakar Kamara has scored braces in each of his last two Championship starts at Craven Cottage, doing so in January 2018 against Ipswich and in their last home game against QPR.

Derby have won none of their last 11 away league visits to London (W0 D7 L4) with their last win there in December 2016 away at QPR.

'Impressed' - Sky Sports pundit makes Fulham v Derby County prediction

The Rams return to Sky Bet Championship action at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night

Derby County are back in Sky Bet Championship action on Tuesday night when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Rams will be looking to build on Saturday's 1-0 victory over Preston North End at Pride Park Stadium.

It was their fifth successive home win - and fourth clean sheet in a row on their own patch.

However, Phillip Cocu's men need to improve on the road, having lost their previous three away outings.

They have not won away in the league since their opening-day success at Huddersfield Town.

The Preston win lifted Derby up to 11th in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Fulham.

Scott Parker's side beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 at Craven Cottage last time out, on Friday evening.

Sky Sports' EFL pundit David Prutton reckons Derby's wait for an away win will go on at Fulham - but is backing the Rams to take a point.

Prutton is predicting a 1-1 draw between the two sides in West London.

"After a little dip last month, Fulham look to be returning to their best ahead of a busy festive period and I was impressed with their win against QPR last time out," said the former Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder.

"Phillip Cocu's Rams are not scoring too much at the moment, but they are not conceding many either and did well to edge past Preston at the weekend."

Here are Prutton's Championship predictions in full...
TUESDAY

Cardiff 2-2 Stoke

Fulham 1-1 Derby

Huddersfield 1-0 Swansea

Hull 2-2 Preston

Luton 1-1 Charlton

Millwall 2-1 Wigan

Reading 1-2 Leeds

WEDNESDAY

Blackburn 2-0 Brentford

Middlesbrough 1-0 Barnsley

QPR 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Birmingham

West Brom 2-1 Bristol City

Everything You Need To Know About Derby's Midweek Clash At Fulham

Derby County are back on the road on Tuesday evening as they make the trip to West London to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in their latest Sky Bet Championship fixture (7:45pm kick-off).

Phillip Cocu's side will be looking to build on Saturday's 1-0 home win over high-flying Preston North End when they make the trip south.

dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the meeting with the Cottagers.
TEAM NEWS...

Midfielder Graeme Shinnie and forward Mason Bennett picked up injuries in the first-half of Saturday's home victory over Preston North End and will miss the clash with Scott Parker's side.

Shinnie injured his hamstring early on while Bennett sustained an ankle problem midway through the half.

The pair are due to undergo scans this week in order to determine how long they will be out of action for.

George Evans and Martyn Waghorn, who scored the winner against Preston, are in line to start.

Elsewhere, defenders Scott Malone and Matt Clarke are again ruled out with knee injuries so Craig Forsyth, fresh from making his comeback at the weekend after a year out with a serious knee injury, could retain his place in central defence.

Midfielder Tom Huddlestone (hamstring) and the versatile Ikechi Anya (calf) remain out of action.
WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY...

"To get a positive result on the road is our next goal," manager Phillip Cocu said when speaking to RamsTV in the lead-up to the game.

We have shown in the home games that we can get good results and play good football. Even a few times we were unlucky at the start of the season in some of our games, both home and away.

"We are doing well at Pride Park and if we really want to step up towards our ambition, we need to find a way to get results away from home.

"With the staff and the team, we have been working to find a plan that works against Fulham.

"That is key at the moment because we can't rely on all season on home games because we will face a few difficult matches at Pride Park as well.
"There will also be moments away from home where things will go better."

HIs last Rams fixture was the 2-1 home win over Reading back in January of this year, with Duane Holmes and Harry Wilson on target that afternoon.

England will be assisted by Matt Foley and Rob Smith on the lines, whilst Lee Collins has been appointed as the fourth official.
