Ki Sung-yueng leaves Newcastle - The former Swansea midfielder has left Newcastle by mutual consent meaning he's free to join a club after the deadline.

Wouldn't be the worst signing...

Would everyone be happy with the window if no signings were made today?
We really don't want to see any of those bargain basement last minute half fit loan signings coming in today. All that we really need is a proven goalscorer to take the weight of Mitro.  A good goalscorer would have to be better than Kamara and would cost a lot of money and it is not going to happen so we had best settle for what we have.

Competion for places on the bench is already strong so no more benchwarmers please.

I already tried to kind of suggest this with more words before (not to you specifically), but why do you believe we need someone better than Kamara as our back up striker?
So right, we really can't expect to have more than two good players for each position, Kamara and Mitro should be  sufficient for the lone striker.

Wasted an hour of my life watching Sky- nothing of interest happening at all.Truly boring.. Danny Rose reckons best chippy in Doncaster. Yawn.

With the deadline at 11pm surely it is all over, best now think about how we are going to use what we have for the last 17 matches.

With our recent history it’s definitely not over until the window shuts.

I assume Pedersen hinges on Christie leaving. Would need cover on the left if Odoi is playing on the right.

The transfer deadline is 11pm unless someone has got it mixed up with Brexit.

brexit is 11, window shuts at 11 but if paperwork is in in time you get a couple more hours

We have cover if needed. Odoi, Kongolo and MLM can all play on the left.

Mawson to Southampton. On Twitter. No idea if it’s genuine.
