Willing to bet he is making the rounds for teams who might be shopping for a new manager.  Not to mention he is probably staying up to date on players and teams in both the Championship and Premier League. 

Agree with the Rock that he was a pretty solid manager for Everton, who I understand had a limited budget.  Since Everton he has lost his way, but I could see him finding a midtable Premier team or Championship side that is pushing for promotion and do well. 

Still don't want him here as I do think Parker is learning and possibly coming around to a plan B.

I wouldn't have thought that Leeds would be looking for a new manager at present, strange. Maybe he just wanted to watch a game between 2 of the best sides in the Championship or had been asked to have a look at one/some of the players on behalf of someone else, there is a transfer window opening soon isn't there.
Wouldn't want to spoil a good conspiracy theory though but then it could be right.

He appears to have been lined up to be the new WHU manager. Perhaps he was talent spotting at the Cottage before Xmas.  Mitrovic, TC.?  Mitrovic played very well, TC was poor.  Or maybe looking at some of the Leeds talent.  I wonder how long he has been lined up.  Would you let Mitrovic go for a big fee.  Maybe get Gayle to replace him plus have some cash to get some proper defenders
