Fulham scores win against social justice warriors!

Here in the People's Republic of California, Fulham fan Jonathan Kotler has finally won his lawsuit against the Peoples Department of Motor Vehicles.
He had applied for a custom license plate for his car with the tag to read COYW.
Initially this was refused because it was racist. Some bureaucrat in the Politburo of the DMV had determined the used of the initial W for "whites" was racist. One could wonder how said pencil pusher knew what COYW stood for but it is pointless to question. I would wonder, what if Jonathan had supported  the New Zealand rugby team? Would he have been refused that plate as well?
The DMV had ruled that COYW has "connotations offensive to good taste and decency". Clearly a Chelsea fan.

Chalk one up for the goof guys.  082.gif
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Snibbo

How on earth would they have any idea what it stood for?

Its California or Venezuela North if you want a more accurate name, and the government knows everything.

Its a bizarre case in the first place.

Surely you cant ban something based off assuming it is an acronym that stands for something you believe.
