Putting on a brave face?

The 2010 UEFA competition as a whole showed Fulham as the most worthy team.Madrid only got to the final via finishing 3rd in the European Championship league.On route to the Final they lost more matches than they won.According to my reckoning we should not be the defeated Finalist but the co-winners.Anyone else agree?

Nice thought but it was a knock out competition where luck plays a big part and we can only at the best in retrospect claim we were unlucky.

It's a sad thought but very much water under the bridge now.

No, life isn't fair. I would rather be defeated finalists than go with the participation medal parade that pervades society these days.
