How did we lose to Brentford last week.
Bad result for us . We now need to beat Leeds tomorrow to keep in touch with the top two.

Exactly the result we wanted. Beat Leeds tomorrow and we're 4 points off top

It's exactly the result we wanted, if WBA are to be caught.

Thing is, we need to do our thing at Leeds, which, won't happen.

SP

From what I saw tonight, I think the WBA manager will be having an open & honest discussion with his players.

Great result for us, let Brentford have all the pressure and see how they cope.
Just need to win tommorow or if not don`t lose , Scot Parker needs to earn his stripes now it is squeaky bum time !

What wasn't the result we wanted?

Brentford beating West Brom? 1500.gif

Yes it was the best result. However, we have to play to win at Leeds. Parker has to step up and think positive or we will hobble into the play offs.

If we lose against Leeds, we are still almost certain to finish in the top six. The seventh position in the table is looking to be around 69 points, with our last two games in the league against teams (Wednesday and Wigan) that will have having nothing to play for, as they will be in the 50-62 points range.

I still think with everyone fit and a half dozen games to get our cohesion we can win both the semi-final and final playoffs.

Had WBA won yesterday they would be further ahead, so not understanding why you think it's a bad thing that they didn't win. Your post is 'contradictory'.

Fulham Tup North

if we can beat Leeds today, it really opens up BOTH the top two places, IMO.

WBA getting 1 point from 6 // Leeds Nil // Us 3 & Brentford 6.

It is certainly going to be an interesting few weeks :)

Agree with all the posts, have to put in a 'huge' performance and win tomorrow. The big problem is, which Fulham will turn up, there hasn't been a 'dominant' performance all season, barring a Millwall team who didn't turn up.

Feel this is the moment the mind set of SP needs to come of age as you need a motivator to make the players ignore the last result and focus on his teams strengths on a group and individual basis and of course pick the strongest team.over to you Scotty!

Southcoastffc

Au cointreau Rodney, au cointreau. It was the best result for us. The more the top places are mixed up, the better our chances. A win today would mean a perfect 2 days. 🙏   COYW!
