In what will be seen as a surprise, Fulham fans do not approve of Scott Parker a

Earlier in the week on Monday, we opened the poll to see if Fulham fans approve or disapprove of Parker as their manager. The full stats of the result, as taken at 17:30 on the 25th June, are below.
Approve: 30%
Disapprove: 70%
Net Approval Rating: -40

As you can see, Fulham fans disapprove of their head coach with a qualified majority. 30% currently approve of the former player turned manager while 70% believe he is not good enough at the job. This gives him a net approval rating of -40.

This will be seen as a huge surprise to many fans out of the club. For all intents and purposes, Fulham are doing well as they are 3rd in the Sky Bet Championship and should at least qualify for the play-offs. But perhaps Parker is suffering due to the huge expectations with many fans expecting them to be competing for automatic promotion, something that could slip out of their grasp soon. A 2-0 loss to West London rivals Brentford at the weekend would not have helped.

So if this is true who would you see as a future fulham manager who would be able to deliver premiership football and keep us there.

Myself i would go for Rafa the Gaffa

Is it really a true reflection of what most Fulham fans think, though?

I think Parker has done well getting us to third place.

Why a surprise?  If 70% 'disapprove', who of the 70% would show any surprise?  On the other hand , you say that fans approve or disapprove - what about the middle ground? And, crucially, how many fans voted?
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

If Fulham win at Leeds tomorrow that poll may just change a little.
Perhaps you can arrange a poll for TK which could be interesting.

Not disputing it (my own thoughts on Parker are pretty clear!) but who, where, etc, was this poll conducted?

Woolly Mammoth

When you said we opened the poll, who are we and who are they who voted and where was this poll held.
Because how many voted was it 10 or 100, if it was 100 with 70 voting against SP and 30 voting in favou of SP that 100 is not a true reflection, even a 1000 fans would not be a true reflection.
It is not a true reflection unless it was around 20,000.
So the poll is null and void due to the current lack of credibility.

when people complain, they tell 10. when good news they tell 3.  Fulham in 3rd place, what is Parker doing wrong . ??? looks ok to me.

Nothing surprising in this straw poll but exercises like this are unhelpful. They sew seeds of dis-chord among fans while feeding the needs of hacked off keyboard warriors. The club can just bat away criticism but the core issue goes deeper and is more complex.

Propose any fantasy manager you like to take Fulham forward but only when your nominated saviour finds favour with the CEO and then, more pertinently, Tony Khan will things improve.

Any candidate to succeed Parker needs to be made of steely stuff. He must take on the men at the top to bring in his own backroom staff, ensure he has the final say on transfers, and ideally should be prepared to rebuild our current scouting network. Wiser heads than we have at present must keep the worst of football's mercenary agents at bay. Long term Fulham also need to find ways to boost and keep young talent coming through the ranks. No more Moussa Dembele and Ryan Sessegnon disasters please. Facing that agenda many of your current 'names' might well think twice.

I don't think we should change our manager but come on his style of football is often bland and boring. He doesn't seem to be able to change how we play and susbstitutions are often a puzzle or at least far too late.

I don't think many of us are going to take too much notice of that result. Right now , we should all be behind the manager and the players and hoping for a result tomorrow.

The data that is well worth a  mention though Woolly is your 25,000 posts, that is a huge milestone you have just passed. Congratulations.

What on earth is a Ryan Sessegnon disaster? Didn't that basically go as well as a club like Fulham could ever hope for nowadays? He played three full seasons, helped us gain promotion, stayed for our try at the PL all the while signing timely contracts ensuring that we were well compensated at the end.
