the 5-1 victory in March 1984. A Gordon Davies hat-trick and the last flourish of the Malcolm MacDonald era. It would 3 years before Fulham hit 5 again.

Yep i was there for that one, it was also the first time i had seen the calling cards, theirs not ours. Was that the same season we done em 3-2 at Maine Rd with Robert wilson scoring an overhead kick?

The 3-2 victory at Maine Road was at the start of the following season. Tony Sealy also scored I believe.

Tony no neck Sealy, i'd completely forgotten about him, was he just a loan signing i can't remember?

Initially signed on loan but later a permanent signing. Had bad luck with injuries. Later sold to Leicester as part of Clay's big sale in 85. Almost re-joined the club under Lewington in 1989 and actually played a few pre seasons. Looked really good but he was only being used to pressure Clive Walker into signing a new contract.

Yeah that was a great night, and then i think we beat Stoke who had matched us in the League in the next game.

Guy goes into the doctor's.
"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

I'm a bit like that, apparently I went to Huddersfield in the 80's, I think I can remember walking past a massive wall on a very dull day feeling cold, but that's where it ends. Don't even know the result!?
