On the bright side, if it ends as is, Derby have to play Cardiff which means we are automatically guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.

thats not correct as Swansea and even Preston way down in 11th could mathematically still finish above us

I have accepted that realistically the only promotion route for us is now via the play offs. I don't like the thought of having to play Derby with the threat of Rooney or Chris Martin so am comfortable at the moment with West Brom winning 1-0

they were poor tonight, really poor. Brentford will batter them at that will be that. That said though if the can do leeds, Leeds also have to play Swansea who are hitting form at the right time. Leeds might wobble then. But I'm not sure I fancy them in the play offs either.
