Yes the whole incident was weird!  I did wonder what was going on.  Do hope we secure his services but Burnley are also after him....

Maybe he wants to stay here, so he done it to put Burnley off.

I think he was determined, in the heat of the moment, to stop a possible goal scoring chance in the closing  minutes of such a tense half, when they kept coming back at us.

He took one for the team, though it was a shame he'd been booked already - for dissent? - though i did think that ref might have given him a  red anyway, then we'd be in trouble.
