It's Parker's over caution that has ultimately cost us automatic promotion. West Brom were there for the taking and of course Bettinelli's howler. We can still go up, we owe Brentford. It will be very tough though.

The anti-Bettinelli nonsense again. Had he been in goal tonight, he would have been blamed by some for not commanding the six yard box for their goal (a header from less than six yards out). By that line of argument, Rodak has cost us promotion by his error and sending off at Middlesborogh and gifting three points to Barnsley at the Cottage. That's nonsense too, of course, but no more than blaming our failure to get automatic promotion on Bettinelli. And while I am on a rant, how on earth was Parker "over cautious" tonight?

Anyway, roll on Monday.

It was a terrible mistake. Rodak had no choice to rush out when he got red carded.
