You do realize that Liverpool had 22 shots, and Leeds had 6, right? Also Leeds did not have a single corner in the entire game (and 'pool had 9)...
I agree that Leeds made a good show of it, certainly better than we did, but this idea that they are world beaters that were unlucky to lose?

Nah not world beaters, but they will beat us..

Wouldn’t want to go into ‘battle’ with you. Thankfully The players won’t be going into the game with the same defeatist attitude. It’s 11 v 11 and as you say Leeds aren’t world beaters. COYW.

Leeds had 3 shots on target, 3 goals.

Yes, just like there was no way we could beat Brentford.

To be honest we were pants last season, only two performances of any merit, Millwall and Brentford in the Play Off Final. We have approached this season in the 'mind set'

A ridiculous comment. We are all disappointed with yesterdays result, but if you want to be taken seriously you need to be a bit more rounded in your viewpoints.

Where is the 'ridiculous comment', you just need to look at some of the important stats from last year, we had the most touches in the opposition half, but were 4th from bottom in the number of chances created (I got that from commentary, but I didn't need to be told that), that is how ridiculous my comment / post is.

We weren't 4th bottom in that stat at all.
We created the 4th MOST chances (shots on target the only stat I can find on this) in the division behind Leeds, Brentford and West Brom.
We had the 11th best conversion rate which was more worrying IMO.

Probably.  Bloody hell.  Hull stopped playing because they thought the play was over and they paid for it.

Also, one thing apparently about Leeds.   I don't think they play anyone who isn't at least 5'9".    Watching them play Hull, there are at least 3 Hull players around Denis Odoi's size.   On the conceded Hull goal...they couldn't get a crucial header on the ball to get it out of their box.   Oh well.

Hull win 9-8. So Leeds shipped 10 goals tonight.

Didn't Leeds make 11 changes to the starting 11 today? This result means absolutely nothing.

Actually...it's one tough side off the table.   I'd rather potentially face a Hull than a Leeds side.   Thinking long game.

We made a lot of changes too but at least we beat our third division opponents.
