TK has had 3 years to get some proper defenders in and who plays tonight, Ream and Odoi both who were highlighted by Sky in the 17-18 playoff final against Villa as being weak links. Why are they still playing, they were weak in the championship and miracles won't turn them into premiership players

Totally agree.  TK faffs about signing loan players who do little to improve the quality of our squad (Tete excepted).  We have needed Prem quality CBs for a couple of years now and TK has failed comprehensively.

I watched his latest podcast and he seems blind to the strengths of the players defense wise, I get loyalty to players like odio but how we are not signing CHs as first signings is a mystery to me, such is someone that's daddy's Boy who as been told the club is his toy! Daddy needs to get rid

I do wonder if anyone has made it clear to TK that we are in dire need of premier quality centre backs and wide men, clearly he can't see it for himself.

How come other teams that came up were able to adapt?
Players like Shane Duffy or Tyrone Mings can come up and do a decent job as PL defenders?  Maybe you have to cut your cloth and realise your centre backs are not Franz Beckenbauer and Bobby Moore. Coach them to defend, 100% commitment, positioning, drills, hours of the same thing on the training pitch.  Get that right first, then you can start trying to keep possession.
