Josh King, Bremer/Marlon (although Marlon has come and gone) and Koopmeiners would be ideal.


Reason for Johansen in the AM or most forward of midfielders is because whilst he's a bit out of match fitness, he is good at snuffing out balls early doors, happy to make a tactical foul but also has an eye for goal.

Lemina I think is also very good at spraying the ball around, but I think he'd be better with a bit more time.

Watching Colley's game last week and his highlights, he appears to be a LCB. Maybe others can clarify, but seems ill advised to spend 30 million on a pair of CB's who both prefer the left.

Now if the club get a 3rd CB like the player from Holland or Dann to play RCB, then I would understand.

Sadly Johanson was all at sea against Brentford and has bee a bit part player of a while now for a reason. His time with us is done imo.
That said, the fact we will be forced to start one of Cairney, Onomah or by how we ended up at the end of the last game maybe even Kebano there, says alot about our current CAM options.

Perhaps though, just perhaps Cairney might be able to strike up a decent partnership with Lookman who appears to love a quick one 2 passing the ball into the centre then immediately looking for the next pass or the one after that. A triangle with Lookman-Mitro-Cairney coming off the left has potential IF* all return to their best.

Totally agree with all of this.

I said in another post that we need 3 centre backs, another DM and a striker/winger.

Also agree with the StefJo comments. After Villa, I was looking for someone to take charge in midfield and snuff out danger. StefJo did that for me, and was the reason we looked far more solid at the back. He deserves to start our next game. Not sure we should be playing him CAM, but as Onomah has been terrible this season, we don't really have anyone who plays that role. Maybe give Cairney a chance there? Im not sure.

After Villa, I was looking for someone to take charge in midfield and snuff out danger. StefJo did that for me, and was the reason we looked far more solid at the back.

I thought we still looked poor at the back against Brentford - and they didn't even play their strongest XI.
