Really like this Everton side.    Strange to think we beat them at the cottage two years ago.

Different players.

Calvert Lewin has been impressive.

AnOldBrownie

This rain...truly an English day of football.

SP

I hear SKY raving about James Rodriguez so I'm interested to see him in the EPL.  I think I saw him play for Columbia at the Cottage a couple of years ago but I can't recall him at all.

SP

 From SKy Sports News:

A complete miss kick there from Cyrus Christie but Forest can't capitalise.

He's one of the most talented South American players in the last 10 years. More playmaker than scorer, but can score. Personality wise he's like the Cristiano Ronaldo of Colombia. Big time player. I think it was hard to find a proper role for him at Real Madrid (or was it Barcelona) and Bayern.

AnOldBrownie

Calvert Lewin got his header.  Great start for Everton.

Good game - both teams playing football

AnOldBrownie,

You starting to watch the Bundesliga or Serie A on ESPN+?

Serie A yup. Budesliga not so much. La Liga...and occasionally the SuperLiga to see what Ryan Babel is up to. Just watching Everton right now while I'm at my daughter's "soccer" practice.

Nearly a Bryan style goal at Leeds.

Are you watching LaLiga using fubotv?

Are you watching LaLiga using fubotv?

Yup.  I've been watching all of Real Madrid's games because of Vinicius Jr.   They recently started showing SuperLiga (Galatasaray) on a regular basis.    Also watch Ligue 1.

If you like european football I swear by FuboTV.

I have Peacock Premium for the Premier League stuff.   That, and ESPN +...got most of my soccer covered.

AnOldBrownie

I want Leeds to lose, which means they'll probably draw or win. :012:

I can't believe how hard it is for our coaching staff to instruct our players on proper defending technique.   It's like they ignore defending all together.

I had it for the last year, but gave it up this year. La Liga is all I will miss. I really only have time for the PL and Bundesliga, and I'll check out Serie A when I can. Fubo is good though. Like checking out some of the Argentina games from time to time.

AnOldBrownie

Gotta give it to Leeds. Unlike us they never look like they are out worked by anyone they play.

We look like a squad built around a slow #9.

Leeds are constantly moving at every position.

Leeds are a quality team with a quality manager -  I hold nothing against them. They've worked hard to get back to the PL. They've done it superbly well, good on them.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Caedal

You can see Leeds are coached well. They're in every game they play.

HV71

As much as I dislike then - they are really giving it a go -good for them
