Does anyone know why a combination of Fabri, MLM, Hector, Seri, McD and Johansen dont play a game for the U23 every now and then?

Because it's more important to give game time to the youngsters and help develop their progression in the game.

Giving the senior players an odd game may help the youngsters but it won't be regular enough to get them match fit even if they make the 1st team bench.

Just my guess?

We've never really used overage players in the U23s/U21s like other teams have (even Hector only had a few cameos last season). Imagine it is a club policy.

What's happened to Stansfield?

Is he injured, as he doesn't seem to be playing for either the U18 or U23?

He has been injured for a while. Had to do an ankle surgery.
