Flexibility in defense...and competition for places

So, when everyone is fit (Tete and Kongolo should be ready for selection soon, right?), we have several really strong options for each defensive position:
RB- Aina, Tete (& Odoi)
LB- Robinson, Bryan (& MLM)
CB- Andersen, Adarabioyo, Kongolo, Ream, Hector
This gives us healthy competition for places, and flexibility with formations, too. A strong back 3 of Andersen (right), Adarabioyo and Kongolo (on the left) would make sense in some games, and the ability to play Tete and Aina overlapping together on the right, and/or Bryan and Robinson overlapping on the left, would be a great option against teams with a lot of firepower down the wings. This also gives us solid cover if (when) we have a starter out due to injury or suspension. I thought Kenny Tete looked very good on his debut; fast, strong and classy, plus an excellent crosser of the ball. He seemed like a nailed-on starter, and when he got injured I felt that Aina was definitely a rung below him, however on Monday's performance, it'd be hard to say Aina doesn't deserve his place. Nice problem to have.
Thoughts?

It's always good to have decent players as back up and as the team establishes itself you will see more and more of players pushing for places

Looking good right now with the hope of a few more clean heets perhaps.

Don't forget Kongolo is very capable at left back too! Tosin is very comfortable at RB too if needed

Surely, MLM is in the squad as a centre back and Kongolo is our third-left back.
