Stayed up til 02.30 and watched again at 05.45...... Aussies really pi$$ed off 245 all out ---- Pontin having a dig at Strauss on the way off the pitch they should either; get a room or pitch their helmets off and have a square go...

COME ON YOU WHITES

Golden Duck !! :yay:

We're r**ted atm and just don't have the quality players required.  As the old saying goes, you can't turn pig sh*t into strawberry jam!

Our team has only a few players with any real stand out leadership qualities or intestinal fortitude.

What's worse is that we don't have anyone really knocking down the door on the batting front.

Should be an interesting day today and by the end of it I think you will have pretty much retained The Ashes if we haven't bowled you out.
At clubs with bigger memberships, their supporters only touch their colours, but at FFC we have spirit. Fulham people can touch that spirit - they are the real Cottagers, they are the club

you need a little luck, the first test we had none, this first day we had a bit and we did well with it.Now then, we have to see how there bowlers play it.We know it will cause problems with the new ball so the first session we should forget runs and just hang on until the shine goes off the ball and then see if we can knock it about, 425 ish would be fantastic and is not impossible as long as out batsmen don't get too excited and don't swing at everything they throw at us,this will be interesting to say the least :dft012:

Fair play to you Ferny. You have more stamina than me! Still, I've got a lie in tomorrow so should manage to stay awake for the first session at least tonight.

It's all very well being favourites, but we still need to 'do the business'. As Hazey says, today could be a massive day in the tour. The chance to get ahead.

Goodness me I never had you down as Johnnie Foreigner. As has been said earlier if we are not all out for 150 come four o clock in the morning we can start thinking about taking the game onwards and upwards. If the Engerland openning six focus on nailing 550 tomorrow and up to lunch the day after it could as you say determine the Ashes.

How good is that Alastair Cook?
What's the difference between Alastair Cook and a cane toad?
Nothing - Australia just can't get rid of either of them  :011:
