I thought Tete was decent in a poor team.

Aina for me was a MOTM contender against Leicester, a big contribution to a proper PL team performance, and has been generally ok in a team (in particular, a back 5) that's much better than the one Tete played in.

IMO the jury's still out on both players but there isn't much between them. Tete shouldn't (and he won't) walk back into the starting XI just because he put in a couple of good performances three months ago when we were crap.

I'd probably play Aina until the Tottenham game away, then play Tete against Tottenham (on New Years Eve) and then choose between Tete and Aina for the Burnley game three days later.

Aina has done well but he does not get forward enough and why we have generally had attacks mostly down one side. Tete is he best crosser in the team. Swings and roundabouts but in what seen so far Tete looks a more complete full back to me

Bassey the warrior

On what I've seen Tete is the better player, but he's been out for a while so not sure he'd come straight back in.

In regards to this, I don't think Tete will start against Liverpool, but can see him starting against Brighton and Newcastle where getting balls into the box will be crucial

I expect Tete to be introduced gradually by second half substitutions, will be good to have both him and Aina available at right back.

The Kongolo situation is unbelievable, it has been going on all year. Two spells at Fulham and very few games played with most of the time spent in the treatment room. What did our medics predict before each signing.
