Once again mere disappointment at losing goes well over the top. In reality it is about keeping the big boys in the top league and not letting any infiltrators survive. We should be as prepared as any club to survive in the premier league. But no, we find it harder to survive than ever before. Why because we are short of that one ingredient, goals. The biggest problem is to bring in real goal scores, you are competing with the top clubs. This is where FFP works totally against our club. There is no doubt that the short turn around at the beginning of the season has also been a factor. The fact is it will be an uphill struggle from here on in. One I doubt we will win

The really bad news is that we have some good players but not one of them is capable of scoring goals. A player with an eye for goal would have come away from the Hawthorns yesterday with a first half hat trick in his pocket.
Interesting to know if goals scored are featured in TK's Stats algorithm.

"Once again mere disappointment at losing"..... it was certainly a disappointing and maddening result, but we didn't lose.  I am not saying a draw was a good result, just that we did actually draw, not lose.

Its football and we have lots of players capable of scoring goals.Sometimes they go in sometimes they dont. Tomorrow is another day. 2 goals yesterday should have been enough.
