Fulham star Terence Kongolo in Covid lockdown party breach

Well Parker himself admitted today that Kongolo knew nothing about it, so think it's a bit harsh to lump him in with some of the other people who've willingly gone to parties or broken the rules. If the footage is recorded as he walks in and he still asks them to leave instantly, that can be made to look like he's hosting a party for the whole evening. He'll undoubtedly get a fine for it off the club but don't think it's as bad as a lot of other footballers have been guilty of doing over the lockdown period

Interestingly, he's playing for the U23s v Sunderland, kicked off a short while ago.  Could it be that the Daily Fail has it wrong?
Surely a newspaper wouldn't risk getting something like that wrong, especially against someone with a high income who may well decide on libel action.

I ted to agree that this is at least part of the problem.

Precisely, the bloke needs a check up from the neck up.

But Woolly it's not just Kongolo is it? Sadly there is often this attitude of "I live in a different world to the hoi polloi and the standard rules don't apply to me".  Obviously there are a lot of decent and principled footballers but there is a significant minority who think they live in a parallel universe.

Maybe he was set up.
Tell that to the judge.
He and his friends were totally out of order, no excuses. The rest of us are strictly following lockdown rules while those few who think they can do as they like are simply prolonging Lockdown and putting lives at risk.
Maximum penalty from police and club has now to be seen.
If true, I totally agree
We are being careful for these idiots to take the mick due to having money/status!
Not only does it put lives at risk and prolong lockdown, it also puts more pressure on the economy and NHS

Why is he called a star ?

Cos his teeth shine at night

We should have him hung drawn and quartered, what was the man doing???? Jeez, he's 27 and came home to a surprise party. Why all the slagging him off?

We should be more worried that we have in him yet another consistently injured member of the club.

But he played this afternoon for the  U23s. Something doesn't add up.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

It's not just breaking COVID rules
He arrives home early hours Monday morning  and we have another important game on wed
Should have been resting
So if it's his friends who put him in that situation
Even if it was not for the COVID epidemic it's pretty stupid when the team have 3 games in a week
His friends must have known this totally insane

I see we won that match 2 nil and Kongolo was subbed in the 65th minute.

That is funny, must mean he is not being considered for the match on Saturday, even for the bench.

It would seem a number of footballers are bucking the trend a bit these days though. There's a very interesting interview with Hector Bellerin doing the rounds at the moment and Zaha has stepped out of the shadows this week. The original Kongolo story is starting to fall apart a bit but you are right in that many players, their partners and their entourages beggar belief at times.
