There are 2 things I take from this selection
1. I don't know the reasons why this team, only Parker and the team know.
2. Before I criticise team selections I like to see how they play.

The phrase 'losing 5-0 but giving it a go' sounds like an oxymoron to me.

While 4-4-2, per se, isn't necessarily any more of an attacking formation than 4-2-3-1, with our poor goalscoring record, I agree that it is a possible means to improving this. Parker will have his reasons for not trying this out; it might be enlightening were one of the post-match interviewers to ask him.
