Would like to have thought we would've done a bit better than that - although not entirely sure with Hughes in charge - although probably would've convinved Jol to manage if we were in it this year.. What a waste.

At the same time: wouldn't the Europa League be an additional strain on the team (injuries, tiredness, ...), one we cannot use at the moment. Or would it, on the contrary, be a motivation for the team to perform well in the Prem as well?
