Obviously not. I'd rather we go win every game regardless if TK appoints himself as manager.

I read your comment and almost considered starting smoking again after 22 years. The worrying thing is that this guy would actually consider appointing himself. Please delete your post in case he does see it and acts on it.

If FFP is scrapped and Tony Khan makes himself manager, then our squad would end up costing more than all the other Championship clubs combined and we would probably win the Championship on goal difference.

I personally would be very happy in the championship with Tony Khan playing Kyle Walker as centre forward, Jesse Lingard as left back and Raherm Sterling in the holding midfielder role.

Make no mistake, the Big Clubs want Tony Khan yo resign as they want all clubs to be "run as a business" and behave like good little boys in the FFP Hierchary. The Big Clubs want the small clubs managed by experts that can only get to the top only performing miracle after miracle, then die when that managers magic runs out like Eddie Howe and Chris Wilder.

What the Big Clubs don't want is some billionaire financing his son's success purely using money to buy any player with half decent statistics available.

The Big Clubs know that limited by FFP, Fulham cannot outspend any of the Big Six ever, but they want the "David vs Goligith Myth to continue" amd small clubs having to outsmart rather than outspend them. As much as Fulhams fans dream of a Scott Parker lead sucres, he along with every player we own can be bought at a price. If he succeeds, then they will buy him and return to normal.

My point is don't believe the lie that Big Clubs are feeding the media to convince the small club fans of teo lies that "hiring cheap smart professionals trained in current thinking is the way for success of a small club" and "getting an dumb amateur spending with a massive chequebook cannot succeed".

Sky Sports commenters would have you believe that Tony Khans stupidity in loaning RLC in October was why we went down and the same experts were praising him until March every time he got the ball and nearly almost completed a brilliant move. Tony Khan should have got Jesse lingard but who knew.

Christ. This season hasn't even finished and the negativity about next season has already started.

Fast forward to end of December 2021.  We have all our freedoms back, Covid is around but no longer seen as a threat, but we are languishing in twenty fourth place in the Championship with SP and TK still in charge.  Yes, Mr Blingo, I'd be happy with SK taking decisive action and then relish seeing a finish just behind the top six with a forward looking DoF and a head coach in place who both knew what they were doing from day one ...  and if one of them was a Serbian and/or an old friend then so be it.   But I fear there are flaws in my prescience.

It's actually a positive post if you look at it properly Mr Rufus. The question is would you be happy finishing mid table if sp and tk were gone. Think about it. It would mean a positive rebuild and a solid foundation on which to build our future. Where is that negative? I would rather we went that way than fluked our way back up (as we did last season) and suffer another season like the one we have just been through.

Nice post Mr Tosh, but "get your freedom back",  now your stretching it a bit lol.

No, obviously we want a season in the promotion race with a top two finish.
However, if it means watching more football like we have seen this season with less than a goal a game then I may want to change my mind by Christmas.

In answer to your very final question, I knew. I have always felt linegard was a very good player but seemed to be a round peg in a square hole at man utd and felt he really could have done a very good job for us. I recall the very negative attitude in general on the MB to him and I was most suprised. However, to be honest I thought RLC was probably a good gamble but it didn't work out and that is always an issue with any player.

Blingo I've often thought you had a screw loose it seems the situation is a lot worse than that. No No No
As supporters  we always want the best for our club. As a crackpot you cannot guarantee that

A bit more than just the one screw Andy, there are a couple of bolts missing too. Looking at what I've written, do you doubt that I want anything but the best for FFC????? If you do, then I would have to ask, which of the two of us is the brick short of a wall???? 049:gif 049:gif 049:gif

Why would you not want the club you support to finish as high as possible, hopefully top.

I do want us to be successful Mr Gang, but at this moment in time we are a shambles and in dire need of a rebuild at the club from top to bottom. TK has failed us miserably so far, as has SP. They need to go. Half of our squad will go back to their clubs and what we have left are either totally disillusioned or not good enough . If we think for one minute that we are going straight back up, there are a lot on here who are going to be severely disappointed. The Khans ARE responsible for the state we find ourselves in and we need change. I for one would be delighted with a mid table finish if it meant that we were rebuilding on solid foundations with an eye to building and preparing a team that with say four additions would stop us being a yoyo club on achieving promotion. I'm sick of seeing what is happening to the club I have supported for 58 years. I want us to be super successful, and maybe even win a trophy. Will it ever happen with the DoF and manager we currently have?

grandad

Only automatic promotion for me. Don´t want the play offs again as exciting were the 2 finals. Both promotions were hampered by not having time to recruit properly.

The answer depends on whether you believe in, or wish for, a short term answer.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

good question in OP
If we re build/structure and finish mid table no problem if it means the following season season and the one after we are better stronger team and this is just a turning point.
However, obviously I would prefer to win every game.

I agree with this, if we can build a team capable of gaining promotion AND strong enough to stay up then that would be more important, for me, than yo-yoing season after season. For this to happen we need a plan and clear achievable (not necessarily easy) goals for the next 1, 2, 5 seasons, I'm not convinced there's a plan for next week let alone next season.

S.F.Sorrow

Definitely not. Especially if it's a result of clueless recruitment with no signs of a long term plan. If we end up mid table with 5 loans in the starting 11 I will be furious!

<<Would you be happy finishing mid table?>>

Yes and No.

No, because my goal (and hopefully the team, players) is promotion.

Yes, because right now I really feel relegation to L1 is a distinct possibility.  Just hopeful FFC can survive next season.
