Maybe add more pressure. To get the one goal, they need to score two penalties. Keeper saves one penalty, that means no goals.

I know 75% of this forum could score form the penalty squad. We should find a sponsor to fund it, maybe the club would.

Extra time, but with golden goal.  If there's no score after 5 minutes, reduce the players by 1 per side.  Thereafter, every 5 minutes take off another player per side.

I like this, with the added twist of the opposition choosing which outfield player has to come off.
