Championship just got weaker next season.

Best three teams went up without doubt.
Don't expect Barnsley to repeat this season's success.
Bournemouth look like a ship within a sail.
Swansea though disappointing today will come again if manager stays.
That leaves the three that came down from.

WBA seem to always be there or there about the kings of being a yo yo club.
Sheffield U with Slav who knows might hit the ground running might take a season or two.

Fulham?  One very good manager and a few more good quality attacking additions and we romp this league. If defence stays as it is will be more than good enough it's what's in front of them the biggest issue.

Well we know that isn't going to happen with Areola, Aina and our main man going, we are still left with a reasonable squad of defensive players though, but nothing else!!

Agreed. This means we won't lose twice against them next season !

Agree but I'm not sure if that is a blessing or a curse. We are not going to keep our loan signings. That being said, our championship squad, and I'm including Mitro in that, is still good enough to go get promoted. If we get another top class Championship striker, we are going to be one of the favs. I'm not expecting much from Sheffield and Slav next season. It'll take him a season or two to implement his style of play.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Just shows you how a well run club with a clear directive, not a massive budget, can do. Good luck to them next season. If we could also use our obvious wealth with somewhere near their acquisition protocol, we could be a very good team with a lasting investment not just for now but also for the future.

Rodak was arguably the best keeper in the league two seasons ago and he's just had a year of learning from one of the best keepers we've ever had, and then we've got Robinson, Tete, Tosin, Bryan, Hector and Kongolo so that's a pretty good defence at this level

Glad they are out of the league.  I would have said we'd be favourites with our squad (no different to our last season in the championship), but with Slav and Wilder taking roles at clubs that will most likely be our main competition, we'll struggle for automatic promotion  with the less experienced Parker in charge.
Still fancy us to reach play offs in be in the hunt for top 2.  We still have the same solid squad that that we had in 19/20.

The OP is spot on. Should make for a very open division next season and a great opportunity for us to yo yo. It's a massive summer for the club. We have the makings of a decent squad. Recruitment and retention are key to next season.

Fulham have a massive, massive advantage over most of the Championship next season. Financially they have options other clubs do not. They have loads of "Championship experience" which is always a concern for clubs that are relegated. The quality of the team makes it a favorite for automatic promotion. Tony Khan and Scott Parker, all eyes are on you!

Look at Brentford the season before last, they had arguable the best footballing squad, but didn't make it, so we really can't take anything for granted. Are we going to be playing 'high tempo football' or 'Parkerball' plus score a goal and hope the opposition don't? There was a lot wrong with our Championship promotion season, the promotion glossed over the 'shortcomings', if we hadn't been promoted then they were 'glaring' for all too see.

And if we make promotion where are is the nucleus of players to keep us in the premiership??? We need to build a squad that is going to be three or four players away from being a competitive premiership team and I don't see it with the current squad.
