you can't put Mawson in the frame with Mings though as he is in the England team at the Euros. Maybe before his injury a few seasons back at Swansea he could be compared but he is miles away from that level right now, and not even sure if he will be fit again to get a place on our team.

I'm going on when they were signed by their current clubs. When we bought Mawson he'd been in the England squad a few months earlier but not played. Mings is a recognised international now but when Villa bought him for £20m IIRC he was on the fringes. Point is they were both ahead of where Tosin is currently, which is more the Hector/Konsa bracket ie £8-12m

No it doesn't. You'd expect to pay a lot more than that now. White is going to cost £50m and he's got a couple of caps.
