My brother, brother in law and I have just renewed our two season tickets.
Has anyone become so disillusioned that they have given up?  Personally I am looking forward to a new manager and new players and hopefully a year of interesting Championship football, oh and don't forget a few pints with friends in the pub before games.

Not renewing but that is due to a change of job so less dosh to play with, and Fulham are the top luxury especially as I have to travel from Suffolk and afford the train tickets to.

Will sign up as a member and get to as many games as I can afford.

If I lived in London I would definitely have a ticket!  049:gif

"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Not renewing as I can't afford it and baby due in November. Been going for 10 years, it's weird not getting a season ticket...I will be going to the odd game though.

I always do
but i did have less anticipation than ever before

A lot of us go through that stage, young kids cost and take up your time, 2003 onwards I missed a few season tickets but managed to get to some games, I managed to get to all the European games at home and the semi and final in Hamburg. Came back to a season ticket in 2011 and have had one since. Three of us share two tickets in the Hammersmith end, it's almost impossible to get to more than about 12-14 games a season. I thoroughly recommend sharing as an option, especially if you can share a couple of tickets between 3-4 or even 5 people.

I was the same for nearly a decade (3 kids born during that time) but the best thing has been returning and buying Season Tickets for myself and the kids. It's a totally different match day experience but equally as joyous, plus you're readying the next generation of Fulham fans.

I hope the Membership category is better served than it has been of late as that will be my only option as well. The season of the White Wall at Wembley it was particularly useless. I found myself attending away games as a home supporter and went to The Cottage twice through the away gates.
I'll just say good luck everybody.

I remember a couple of seasons where my late wife and I had partial season tickets, which were perfect.

6 games, with 1 category A game allowed. We used to go and watch a Man United or Arsenal for one, the worst team in the league for another, then pick the closest 4 teams around us for the other 4 (whilst trying to make sure there was about a month or 6 weeks between games).

Haven't had a season ticket since she fell ill, but I do try to get to a few games each year.

Cambridge Pete

Good luck to Suffolk White in the new job. I did the same thing about seven years ago when I retired. Still get to a few home games and the odd away. Pity no Norwich with the Belgium Monk, but I suppose Luton and Peterborough will be on the radar.

I reckon they're delaying the announcement of Cooper Ball until after the ST deadline, fearing that another coma-inducing manager may put people off renewing

We did the 'package' option as a spare to my ST and it worked out really well for us. The only downside was that, as ever, some people around us got smart and brought two to sell on via the ticket exchange thing we had for a while. I suppose if it pays for travel, beers and away tickets it is smart economics but we had a fair few idiots mingling amongst us.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Good luck with your season.

All done and full of naive optimism!
Yep! Sums it up for me too and the 2 others with me.

Not renewing because of expected hospital procedure, not happy about it but probably a wise thing to do as recovery time is a few weeks. hopefully can get a half season one later.

fulhamfever

Haven't held one since 2012. However, I am sure next season when I can get to away games up north I will. Considering there are more Northern teams in the Championship (14 out of the 24).

I appreciate this and Southdowns White's reply. I may give up going for a while but I will 100% bring in a new generation of Fulham fans. I won over the missus. She even has a shirt with her name. My nephew was corrupted by Leeds (his Dad's an Arsenal fan but his Dad and brother are Leeds....so he failed!) and my other nephews and niece are lost causes. Can't wait to go to the Cottage with my child and also my Dad. :)

Thanks Cambridge Pete, the job will see me to retirement I think. The Club called today to ask if I was renewing so sadly it's a no.
