To be fair they're reporting it as fact, as opposed to 'set to sign' or 'is poised to agree' etc. Not sure it has to come directly from the club for it to be fact, and the Guardian's sport reporting is pretty reliable.....

Personally i will wait for the offal to confirm, appreciate what your saying but nothing is ever confirmed till it is on the offal
