I own a SEAT Ibiza (2017-2021 model). Very roomy inside and practical for a small car. You can probably get some good deals at the moment, as the facelifted model (which is almost the same!) is out soon. Buying new - about £16-20K, used with low mileage £13-16K. Only a 1.0 litre engine, so very economical and ULEZ compliant. The performance is great for a small car - provided you get the 110/115bhp variant.

Yes it's amazing the performance you can get from modern 1.0 litre engines and economy also.
I would advocate the fiesta 123 BHP.
