Ok this season is not quite over yet, but for 20 of the Championship teams when it comes to promotion it might be and we will not be 1 of
them! Never have I been so positive and confident that our current squad of players will achieve promotion, unless some of the other teams are able to sign up some seriously good players in the last few days of this transfer window. I don't think we need to sign anybody else but do need to keep the squad we have, happy days!   :wine:

Nothing wrong with being confident and so far it is looking very encouraging, and consistency is the key.
5 League matches played, 13 goals for 3 against with another 41 League matches to still be played. That's a lot of football left to get through.
If we are as good as we feel we are then we should still be top at Christmas.
Best to take it in 5 games batches. First 5 We collected 13 points. Next 5 ts a mixed bag of teams. We need to try and pick up another 13 pts minimum if we can. Easier said than done but it's achievable.
But let's be realistic with ourselves and don't look too far ahead, it can be fatal, I just want to enjoy the ride from game to game.
Nevertheless another 13 points in the next 5 will show we mean business. Top two has to be the target but we have to earn it over 46 matches with all the trials and tribulations and good fortune and bad luck and unforeseen challenges that go with it.
Because the further up the mountain we climb, the more treacherous the path.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

Absolutely this.

I am over the moon with where we are and what we are doing right now, it's marvelous.

However, getting carried away is what leads to this board being utterly overrun with doom merchants as soon as we hit a rocky patch, for the sake of everybody it's better to just temper it a little for now and then go absolutely apesh!t when it's in the bag.
