It is awful and despite what is being said about financial  recovery, this is happening outside of football every moment. If you have savings there is no where to put them. If you have a debt banks are piling on the interest and if you owe the IR then kiss your posterior goodbye.

Still Football should not be a special case and to be honest we all know this has been coming. Didn't Chester beat us 5-0 nil when they shared Macclesfield Towns ground. Or was that a dream? Anyway they are not the first and will not be the last.

It's exactly the same as what happened with the credit crunch. People knew that over-extending on debts would bite them on the arse in the long term, but they still wanted to reap the rewards. Football is all about spend spend spend, but now's the time to pay pay pay.

A sad but inevitable time. And it's only a matter of time before one of the really big clubs find themselves in the same situation.

They owed £26,125 in unpaid taxes I think. The supporters are trying to start the club in a lower league. Very sad. The likes of Terry earn that sort of dosh in a day.
