Hello to all Friends of Fulham!

I hope some of you can help me with my question...
As Fulham's game at Reading is scheduled for my birthday (29.12.) we are thinking of flying over from Austria.
Would be my first game since Millwall away in 2018. Good omen?
We are staying in London and would have to travel to Madejski stadium somehow.
A car is not an option as you are  driving on the wrong side of the street....
What's it like going there by train?
I think I've read that there are busses from and to the stadium back to the train station on gamedays.
As it is midweek I hope we can get back to London after the game somehow.
Maybe there will be a coach from the club going there? But I'd prefer travelling by train.

Thanks for your help guys!

You can check coaches here https://www.nationalexpress.com/en/destinations/reading
But the club will surely be running coaches from the cottage.

Reading very easy by train from London, very frequent & fast trains from Paddington, also from Waterloo, Clapham junction etc but a longer journey time
The problem you'll have is Readings stadium is a long way outside the town centre. There are shuttle buses back after games but we just cross the road into one of the hotels & get a taxi from there
