It is rare that any of us agree with the team selection, I certainly don't! Tonight I think this is the best 11 for us to try and get a result, the usual comments about Tete instead of Odoi and Mawson instead of Hector will no doubt be made, but how fit are they? No enthusiasm about the others on the bench apart from TC who can help us, but would not consider bringing on any of the other 4 from the bench unless absolutely necessary to do so! Would be happy with a draw this evening! COYW

Me too, he hasn't reached the heights that I thought he would since first joining us, but he could certainly become 1 of the best defenders in the Championship if he puts his mind to it and gets more regular playing time.

It's 11 v 11 so nothing to worry about we have as much chance as them. You cannot legislate for individual mistakes or referee misjudgements. Hector has the character to give a good performance, and the talent and ability on the bench is as good as you will ever see in the Championship. If a key player has to be replaced you should see a key player replace them.
On this occasion perhaps the best form of defence is attack.
Then again Blackburn are no mugs either.
My main concern pre match is that our back four keep their shape and balance and ensure their is depth in that defence when we do not have possession.
If plan A does not go to plan, then we have players in the dug out that can have an impact and either win the game for us, or save the game for us.

Silva said the other day that he's not ready for back to back 90 mins. Aim is to ease him in slowly to get his fitness back without compromising a chance of an injury relapse

I think a lot of people forget how good Hector actually is at this level.
