Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Looked very tidy and fast, one to keep an eye on for January window?

We need a good Irishman.

Every good team has one, infact the England team that reached the Euros final had about five.

Trying to remember our favourite Irish players, Ted Hinton, Robin Lawler, Jimmy Conway, Ray Houghton. Jimmy and Robin had less talented brothers with them of course but I am struggling to think of others. Help.

One Irish player I wish had played for us was Chris Brunt.  Sanchez nearly signed him when Aaron Hughes Chris Baird and David Healy arrived. Good honest player was Chris.  :54:

I hardly ever post but have to say....Damien Duff!   Now the new manager of Shelbourne FC

Jim©

Steve Finnan was about the best Irishman ever to play for us in my lifetime.

Oh, how could Duffy have slipped my mind an absolute favourite of mine, probably our best ever left sided wide man with due respect to Tosh and Barrat. Of course when inside out wingers became fashionable he looked so good on the right.

Best Irish eleven (?):

Gerry Peyton

Steve Finnan Aaron Hughes Chris Baird Terry Phelan

Jimmy Conway Sean O'Driscoll Ray Houghton Damien Duff

David Healy George Best

No, sorry drop Heally as he never played well for us, play Conway alongside Best , switch Duffy to the right side of midfield and play Lawler on the left, he was pure class.

No I have mentioned him a couple of times, such a nice player who won a few caps for Ireland while at the Cottage.

Shame Kilburn never had a team, 100% Irish back in the day 😁

Finnans Right Peg

He scored a good goal last night and if neeskens and seri are going to the african cup of nations in January. He might be worth a look
