How good would that be QPR, Fulham & Brentford in the PL

It would be financially terrible to have four West London teams, Shahid Khan's business model for the Riverside Stand is built on selling it out at a premium price with sales from those traveling from Heathrow Airport. If we share the fly-in revenue with too many other teams, then we will struggle like more northern teams (Bolton, Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Wednesday, Stoke, Sunderland, and Wigan).

bog

Have to say that from what I saw they played very well.

Much prefer Brentford to get relegated last game of the season and QPR to get knocked out in semi finals of playoffs with a defeat coming late in injury time after leading by two goals at one stage.

People will always go to Fulham cos it's the classiest ground by a mile, QPR's a dump and Brentford just another soulless brand new stadium, people will always pick Fulham or Stamford Bridge as the tourist go to

My Dad and late brother were QPR fans as a couple of my close friends are. Obviously always want good results against them, Brentford and Chelsea, thats about all. Guess Bournemouth and their manager are top of the dislike list at the moment.

You've of not really put much thought into this have you??? 😂😂

Wolf

Soulless Lego stadium it may be but I know two football fans who have started watching Brentford this season (previously Arsenal and Chelsea respectively). Loftus Road is a bit of a harder sell to the casual fan / tourist.

Likes: Fulham
Hates: the Hounslow maggots

There's only, and will only EVER be ONE Craven Cottage. It is a unique stadium with the best supporters in the WORLD.

I  sure that if you are an affluent football fan the attraction of our new stand plus hopefully the quality pf the football easily out weighs the attraction of Loftus Rd which as we know is not the best stadium.

Look a bit wider.
Watford, QPR, Brentford, Fulham, Palace, Arsenal Chelsea, Spurs.
Eight Londond clubs could be in the Premier League next season giving us 14 local derbies with good gates,
Would that be good for us.

I think that the last London derby we won in the Premier League was 2013. Therefore, the less up there the better 🤣

Not forgetting West Ham that makes nine not far to travel either 16 London Derby's makes sense.

You do come up with some pretty bizzare statements TRF.
"Fly-in" revenue? Local revenue is always there, a businessman would be crazy to rely or plan on something like that.
The very fact that the club is situated in a very affluent area, with access to many affluent areas would be many times more important than the handful of visitors arriving by plane each game.

Thanks Woolly, how could I forget the Hammers.

West Ham  can be as harder to get to as travelling to Watford or Luton!

I think there  are still American tourists travelling round in circles on the Docklands Light Railway from last season!

FulhamStu

QPR have won their last 3 games v teams they would expect to beat, next 4 are more interesting and are Stoke, Sheff U, Swansea and Bournemouth.   Be interesting to see where they are after that!
