Moneybags Newcastle should be ok if they get the signings correct in January.

Blackburn?  Wow, how did they lose 7-0?

The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

If Newcastle get relegated, then expect them keeping their best players and spending £120m in the summer. If they have a bad season, they will get 95 points. If they have a good season, then they will get 125 points.

If Newcastle go down, I wonder if Eddie Howe will get a public flogging for his failure

Eddie Howe will be getting £110m to rebuild and after achieving 95 points will get praised.

The only certainty I can see at this stage of the season is that a lot can happen in a very short time (see Michael Massi and his decision making on Sunday last) that requires us to say 'all bets are off'.   A rather large asteroid missed hitting planet earth by a mere 137,000 km a few days ago ...  Who knows what may happen next?

too early to guess

Agreed.  Funny old game it is.  What looks like a 'lock' right now can certainly change within the space of a half season of footie.
