Our current squad needs a complete refresh and upgrade if we want to reach and stay in the premiership.

We should be looking to start in January.  If you look at our current team from last night, Rodak, Tete, Tosin, Ream, Robinson, Reed, Seri, Mitro, Kabano, Reid, Cairney, Hector, Odoi, Bryan have all represented the club in the premiership but none have set the world alight. Other clubs have not been banging on the door to sign our players.

Yes we may be good enough for promotion but without a lot of forward planning we won't last in the premiership for long.  Most of all let's get a bit of aggression and muscle in the squad to mix things up a bit.

And how do we sign PL standard players whilst in the Championship? At best we're going to be able to get a few loans with options to buy but that means finding players who aren't getting game time in the PL who are good enough for a team to avoid relegation, which is no easy feat and also means they join us out of fitness/match sharpness. Also sounds like you want to fall into same trap of 2018 by buying a whole new squad in one summer, which is absolutely not the way to do it. With good tactics and discipline there is no reason why the current squad with 4/5 good additions cannot stay up, you only have to look at some of the squads in the PL like Burnley to understand that they stay up because they perfected a system under Dyche and pack out the squad with average players who can perform the role that Dyche asks of them.

Five games without a win suggests we are going to finish way off promotion, no point in worrying about premier league relegation just yet.

Lucky the season doesn't last a very specific set of 5 games then!

Your preference?

Top of the Championship or bottom of the Premiership being thrashed & humiliated most matches?

We know that we are a work in progress, have a reputation as a YO YO team promoted then relegated.

We know that we don't currently have a strong enough team to survive & flourish in the Premiership.

So it's something we both know & are hopefully working on over the rest of this season.

However, no point in insulting or denigrating the current team on who we place our hopes & aspirations to continue keeping us @ the top & getting over the line as far as promotion is concerned.

A few sales & acquisitions (including a leader on the field) in January perhaps to address the shortcomings of the last 5 matches.

The results of the last 5 matches of course been hugely disappointing especially as we could have made clear water over our nearest rivals.

How "Fulhamish" for that to happen!

Time to remain calm & focussed. To allow Marco to get the situation sorted & to carry on the excellent start of the season.

Many posters were originally of the view that it was never going to be a walk in the park & that there would be twists & turns along the way.

Having been a supporter for 70 years (born & bred in Parsons Green Maternity Hospital) I am beginning @ last to get used to what it means to be a true fan of FFC.

COYW!

Lets be honest Dave, you are probably thinking we'll be relegated this season
