Michael Hector and Alfie Mawson
The Fulham duo are said to be on interest to the R's. But West London Sport's David McIntyre writes that QPR's west London neighbours Fulham have 'indicated that they would not be open to a deal at this stage.'

Since, a report from Hammy End has revealed that Fulham boss Marco Silva wants to keep his defensive options stockpiled throughout the upcoming fixture pile up, and so he won't sanction a temporary or permanent departure for either Hector or Mawson at this stage.

Well someone must be correct, but not sure who?

With Alfie not involved today ,you would think he is on his way out

Or he could be one of the two players Marco said were not available due to Covid.

We need to get people out before anyone comes in, Mawson is out

We should not sell Mawson  to Birmingham until after we have played them . This is Fulham and it's obvious why.

Fulham face failure in Fulgini pursuit

Fulham's ambitious attempt to acquire Angelo Fulgini from Angers appears doomed to failure after Marseille entered the race to sign the attacking midfielder, according to the Sun.

Fulham have been heavily linked with the 25 year-old, who looks set to move on during this transfer window, and were hoping to use their position in the Championship promotion positions to persuade Fulgini to move to London. But Marseille's interest in the playmaker makes them an attractive domestic option for Fulgini, who has scored three goals in eighteen Ligue 1 games this season,

The Sun says that the former French under-21 international is keen on a move to the Premier League and Burnley are believed to be preparing an offer. Angers are looking for as much as £18m for their star midfielder – which is another reason why the Whites are likely to be priced out of the race.

I think he's a good short term option, much more to his game than just an aerial threat.  Guessing Bournmouth are cashing in on one of their strikers?

Didn't somebody mention that Newcastle were sniffing around Solanke?

Yeh, although that seems to whiff of lazy journo chat really. Howe previously signed him and it didn't quite work out so that must mean he'd sign him again. Hopefully its true though!

Now that you say that, I think I was one of those that said it was probably lazy journalism.  :dft001: 064.gif

From the Athletic - summary from the latest Peter Rutzler article

https://theathletic.com/3058141/2022/01/09/fulham-set-rely-current-squad-promotion-push-expect-outgoings/?source=emp-shared-article

It is understood that Cyrus Christie, who has publicly voiced his desire to leave for more game-time — will be able to leave for free. Fulham are also open to offers for Anthony Knockaert and Terence Kongolo, both of whom have dropped off the radar this season. A year on from his initial £4 million signing, Kongolo has just not been able to consistently fight for nor hold a place in the Fulham first team.

There have also been links regarding Michael Hector and Alfie Mawson, but both are well-liked and would not be lost willingly during this window. Mawson, although absent from the squad on Saturday, did not miss out for transfer-related reasons.

Domingos Quina played tidily at Ashton Gate without really affecting the game. His lack of minutes on loan at Fulham means he is likely to see his move cut short this month and his start on Saturday seems unlikely to change that.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Wasn't he with Fulham before when he was with the academy or is that another Josh Bowler.

That's correct, scored the winner against us earlier this season.

Which was also the only league goal he's scored this season in 26 appearances  :023:.

Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"
