I believe even if he's loaned back to us, we'll see a drop off so yes we lose one of our best attackers. Hope I'm proved wrong.

Why would we see a drop off? If anything, he finally can focus only on playing. Should do him good only.

Agree entirely. Doesn't want to be at Fulham then he can **** off as far as I'm concerned. It won't cost us promotion whether he stays or goes. It will cost us millions by him not signing a contract. FFC is bigger than any 19 year old however good he may be.

I am saying that whether he stays or goes will not be the deciding factor as to whether we go up. I don't think that is being foolish at all. We won games when he was injured and will win games when he has gone. He's good but he's not that good yet

I agree, we won games when his form dipped and he found himself on the bench and we are perfectly capable of doing so again.  That's not to suggest he isn't a huge asset, but I don't think he and he alone is the key to promotion. We are most definitely not a one man squad.

I do wonder if Wilson may not be better suited to his role so he does not get closed down so often, but I have a sneaky feeling Marco is changing Stansfield from an out and out striker to the role fab currently has.

Stansfield's played as a number ten - and very well - in most of the under 23 games he has featured in this season.

Sounds like Tony Khan is playing hardball.
There really is no point in selling the youngster now for buttons then loaning him back for 6 months (with a loan fee) AND paying his inflated salary.
Cheaper to keep him on a fiver a week and let him go in the summer for a bit of compo. In the meantime he'll be playing his socks off to get a contract at Liverpool or Barcelona.
No wonder reports suggest the chances of a Liverpool deal are dwindling....
